Chalet Arve is a bright and modern chalet ideally located in a quiet residential area within walking distance to Chamonix centre. The chalet has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests, and offers a stylish interior and a quality finish. With a log fire, a separate games room and stunning views from the terrace, Chalet Arve is the ideal spot for your holidays in Chamonix with family or friends.

The Location:
Chalet Arve is located in a quiet residential area within walking distance to Chamonix center. A 15-minute flat stroll along a secured pedestrian/cycle path brings you into the Chamonix high street where you will find a good selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The main bakery is a 10-minute walk from the chalet, where you will find an impressive selection of fresh breads, local cakes and sandwich options. Access to the valleyâs network of mountain trails can also be easily reached from the chalet, allowing great summer outings on foot or by bike.
It is possible to use the valleyâs bus network to reach the various ski resorts, the closest bus stop being a short 5-minute walk. If you are visiting with a car, the BrĂ©vent lift is a 5-minute drive, the FlĂ©gĂšre and Les Houches lifts a 10-minute drive and the famous Grand Montets ski area is a 20 minute drive away. The chalet is also well positioned to visit resorts further away, such as Courmayeur in Italy with the use of the Mont Blanc tunnel, itself a short 10-minute drive from the chalet.

Room 2 double or twin (2 x 80 x 200) with ensuite shower, bath and WC

Room 4 bunk beds (2 x 80 x 200) with use of shared bathroom with shower, bath and WC
Room 5 double or twin (2 x 80 x 200) with use of shared bathroom with shower, bath and WC

The Details:
Entering on the ground floor you will find a comfortable boot room with seating and heated boot dryers as well as plenty of storage. On this floor you will also find a games room with a foosball table and a large flat screen TV, as well as plenty of board games.
The main floor opens up onto a spacious and modern open plan living, dining and kitchen area. The well-equipped kitchen offers a mini barrister coffee machine and the comfortable living room has a log burning stove. There is direct access out to a generous terrace with an outside dining table and a large garden with lounge seating and hot tub. The views from the terrace are directly onto the Mont Blanc.
The next floor up offers two flexible ensuite bedrooms, which can be set up as either twins or doubles. They both have bay windows with impressive views of the Brévent ski area. There is also a guest WC on this floor.
The large master bedroom is on the top floor of the house, with plenty of storage, a work station, and great views of the Mont Blanc range. The ensuite bathroom has a free-standing bathtub, double sinks and an Italian shower.
On the lower ground floor, there are two additional bedrooms; one bunk room and one room that can be set up as a twin or a double. These rooms share a bathroom which has a bath/shower combo, and a WC. There is a laundry room on this floor with washer/dryer and also a separate guest WC.
Whatâs Included:
Self-catered Alpes Travel Plus bookings include linen, two towels per person, provision of firewood if applicable, an in person meet and greet, in resort assistance when required, end of stay cleaning and local taxe de sĂ©jour (tourist tax). This allows you to benefit from the Carte dâHotes giving you free travel on the trains and reductions on entry to the museums and other attractions. Standard check-in is between 4-8pm and check-out is by 10am. Early or late check-in and check-out might be available and can be booked through your guest area.
Once a booking is confirmed, guests will have access to private guest area and digital guide to the property tailored for each individual booking. From the guest area you will have the option to add additional bookable extras. Services include fresh flowers upon arrival, a food or champagne hamper, high chairs, cots, a local beer selection from Big Mountain Brewing, airport transfers, ski hire, a games pack and much much more!
