The villa is close to the beach, numerous restaurants and a short walk from 2 local supermarkets. The house is well equipped and very comfortable with air conditioning throughout. We had a great time and would highly recommend this lovely place .
We recently stayed at this villa for two weeks, great choice.
Lefki and Yanis could not be more helpful, the villa is literally 5 minutes stroll to the beach, and in the other direction you have a choice of two mini supermarkets.
The villa is very well maintained, including pool and gardens.
Some tips from our experience:
- Don't pay 20 Euro for the parasols on Zorba's beach, you can buy a parasol for 7.5 Euro in the mini supermarkets, the price these guys charge is a well known rip-off!
- Sadly, the quality of restaurants are a bit to be desired, best one is Almyriki, bit pricey, but when you try the others you'll understand why
- One restaurant to steer clear of is Zorbas Taverna, it was dreadful, but great if you like to be swamped by dozens of stray cats
- For reacl choice in restaurants visit Chania, go to the harbour, masses of choice and lots of shops
We will definately make Crete a destination, from hereon.
Once again, this villa ticks all the boxes, you will be making a good choice if you have a family of four, and if larger family then ask Lefki about the seperate aprtment adjoining the property, we also booked this as we have older daughter who had a friend join us
Everything thought of in the villa, local beaches beautiful, local taverns seem to shut very early ( 10 PM) But not high season yet . Handy bus service right outside villa. Overall excellent experience.
We stayed in Lefkiâs house for 6 days with our 2 kids. They adored the swimming pool and the nearby beaches and there are a lot of toys in the house they can play with. Beaches, grocery stores and restaurants are easy accessible by foot. If you want to explore Crete a rental car is a good option. There are 2 beaches in Stavros. We liked the beach with the sunset bar the most because it was more quiet and the sunset is really beautiful. We think at Zorbaâs beach the charges for sun beds and drinks are unreasonable (2 and even 3 times as much as al they other beaches we visited). Lefkiâs house has everything you need and has room enough for 5 people and has 3 terraces so you can always enjoy the sun (or shade).
This place was awesome. Our host was welcoming and helpful if we had questions. The home was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and we were grateful for the air conditioning as the temperatures were high. It is so close to the beach and the market. Lots of nice restaurants close by. We would go back.
