Charming authentic characterful 17th century agricultural outbuilding, steeped in history and carefully restored according to the rules of the art (once linked to the neighboring manor farm run by the monks of the Tournus Abbey), nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, in the "backyard", in the heart of a peaceful, picturesque wine-growing hamlet, 3 km from the typical village of Chardonnay, historic cradle of the legendary eponymous grape variety of world renown (elegant listed 12th century Romanesque church, 12th century manor house, former tithe of the Benedictine monks of the Saint-Philibert Abbey of Tournus, Neolithic dolmen "legendary stone" listed as a Historic Monument, etc.). Total tranquility in the heart of the gentle wine-growing countryside of the Haut Mâconnais (ZNIEFF listed), nestled in a bucolic valley of vineyards, meadows, and forests, on the wooded foothills of the South Burgundy massif (a wild area rich in splendid panoramic viewpoints as far as Mont Blanc on a clear day!).
