Charming Charlotte home filled with lots of character! This one bedroom unit has everything you need for an enjoyable visit to the Queen City. Less than 1 mile from Uptown(downtown) makes this a prime location and walkable to restaurants, pubs, breweries, and nightlife. Frazier Park/Frazier Place Dog Park less than a mile. 2 minute walk to Johnson C. Smith University!

The Space:
This is a 1 bedroom unit in a multi-unit building. As you enter, you will be greeted by a large front porch with comfortable furniture to enjoy the views of Uptown Charlotte. The bedroom features a cozy queen-sized bed, a large closet, and a workspace. The 3 piece bathroom includes a stall shower, toilet, and sink. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, coffee pot, hot plate, cookware, dishes, and utensils. The living room has 2 new leather sofas, a TV, and a dining table. We provide basic necessities such as coffee and creamer, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo and body wash, fresh towels, and linens. There are additional linens provided if the air mattress is needed. You will feel right at home here!

Guest Access:
Entire unit in multi-unit home. Private space with bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and living room. The laundry room is separate and shared with other guests. Private entrance and plenty of street parking.

The Neighborhood:
Cute neighborhood less than 1 mile to Uptown(downtown) Charlotte. Walkable to Dog Park and Uptown attractions like restaurants, breweries, and nightlife.

Getting Around:
Walkable to Uptown Charlotte or a very short Uber ride.

Other Things to Note:
This is a multi-unit home. There is a locked door separating the 2 units, this is a keyed lock with no access by either guest.

Pet Fee: $50 per pet. If an unapproved pet is found, a $100 pet fine will be charged.
Early Check-in (2:00 p.m. earliest): $25 - must be pre-approved.
Early Check-out (12:00 p.m. latest): $25 - must be pre-approved.
Unapproved late check out past 10:00 AM will result in a $50 fine.

Great Location
This location was perfect!! Cute and cozy place. Needs a little bit of work but the pictures are very accurate!! Not a good spot for anyone plus size! The bathroom is very small. The walls are thin so you are able to hear the people in the other duplex. Overall I enjoyed my stay!!!

Nikki Minaj concert
Me and my daughter had the most epic night and enjoyed a concert at this VRBO rental. It was great location and beautiful. I was very pleased to have seen my daughter loving the spot I choose instead of a hotel. I wanted a personal experience with my child and recommended this spot to anyone. Thank you to the host it was beautiful and a great location.

Comfortable, good location
This was nice for the price you pay. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, and towels, which we appreciated very much. Shower is small but excellent water pressure. Great location, we walked to uptown, and Truist stadium. Couple scuffs on the wall and a lil dusty, but it’s a good spot for people who want to explore Charlotte, and just need a spot to crash afterwards.

Would not use this host again
I’ve never written a poor review of a property, I usually just provide feedback to the host if I run into any snags. However, I’d like to warn others prior to booking this property. The area is safe and quiet and located in an ideal spot. Close to downtown and the highways. The curb appeal needs some work as it’s really dated compared to the rest of the neighborhood. The interior is very small, no tub, no stove. Ideal for just 1 person. There are a lot of scuffs and dirt on the walls. There are also holes and places where the wood is deteriorated throughout the place. Additional throws for the living room would make the living space more cozy. The blanket that was on the bed smelled like body odor so I didn’t want to use it. The checkin process was awful. I arrived early and followed the check in process. The code did not work. I messaged the host asking if I could enter the property early. Hours later, the host said that it would be available and was ready. By this time I was running errands and did not get to the property until after 4pm. It was raining and cold. The property has about 15-20 steep/uneven stairs that lead to the doorway. So, after lugging my bags up the stairs, I followed the checkin process and enter the code. It did not work, I wait a second and try again. This time I recorded myself entering the code properly. Both times, you can hear the locking mechanism move around but the door is still locked. At this point, I messaged the host 3x letting them know

Great Location
My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. It is a duplex, as others have mentioned. Walls are thin, but there wasn't much noise from the other side. Bathroom is small, had to sit on the toilet sideways, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Home is a bit older, steps are steep- but overall, this spot was perfect for our two night stay in Charlotte. The location was PRIME. Cute neighborhood with easy walk to downtown. Also just a short drive to great coffee and restaurants not in Uptown. Great and easy communication with host.

Close to downtown, view on cemetery, neighbor died on the other half of the house
We stayed there for a week, the house is in a very quiet neighborhood, it was clean and close to downtown (you could really walk to downtown from there). They did turn it into a duplex, but it's really just a house, so you can hear every conversation ppl have on the other side. A man on the other side of the house was making a lot of noise, and we had cops knocking at our door looking for him(we were at the front part of the house). Then it got really quiet. we thought he left, but he actually passed away and was lying there dead. It was traumatizing for us, we know it's no fault of the owner but we didn't even know we ll be sharing a house with someone, to begin with. The House is also located across from the cemetery and has a cemetery view which is creepy. Overall weird experience.

The rental is part of a duplex
The description of the property didn’t include that it is one half of a duplex. There was a dog just on the other side of the door that barked every time we made a sound when his owners were not home or left him unattended. The stairs going up to the property are very steep. Recommend packing light due to this. Elderly people would have difficulty with the steps. The space itself is comfortable for two people.
