We've stayed a couple of times here, once in a room and the bext time in a suite. Both times, the rooms were clean and perfect for an overnight stay (but if you like more elbow room, go with a suite). The manager and staff there are wonderful! My husband and daughter liked the breakfast, and even though we aren't tea drinkers, the 4pm - 6pm tea time in the lobby was absolutely lovely! There's also a small workout room, and next to that is the indoor pool. The hotel is directly behind a popular bagel shop, and is also a short drive to restaurants and shopping. We had a nice time there and will definitely stay there again the next time we're passing through Charlottesville.

Our room (and probably much of this hotel) needs renovation. There was mold in the bathroom sink and rust on the metal parts of the shower. Erica, however, is fantastic running the breakfast room. She keeps everything stocked; she's friendly; she cleaned and moved a high chair for our grandson to use; she even took some family pictures for us. The second day she recognized us and asked if the baby was coming down and then moved and cleaned the high chair again.

Loved the tea and cookies every afternoon by the fire and Christmas Tree!!! Also love the breakfast!! My favorite was the cottage cheese and peaches! The bed could have been better but other than that it was great and the staff were very friendly. Enjoyed our stay!!

Very pleased with the Family Suite WE rented, it was quite spacious. However, there was NO EXTRA BLANKETS PROVIDED & WE STAYED THERE IN MID- DECEMBER. ALSO, NO TOASTER IN THE KITCHEN... A TOASTER & EXTRA BLANKETS WOULD MAKE THIS SUITE TOP NOTCH ‼️WE WENT TO A WALMART & PURCHASED A NICE TOASTER TO USE DURING OUR 3 DAY STAY. THE TOASTER COST LESS THAN $14. OH, WE WERE NEVER ABLE TO EAT @ THE INCLUDED " FREE BUFFET BREAKFAST". THERE WAS NEVER ANYTHING LEFT WHEN WE WENT DOWN ... NOTHING ‼️ NO HOT CHOCOLATE PACKETS, NO COFFEE ☕, NO MUFFINS, ETC . VERY DISAPPOINTED ‼️‼️
