Located in the rolling hills of the southern Beaujolais, 25km/ 15 miles from Lyon city centre. This property offers the best of French rural life with easy access to the culture and restaurants of the historic city of Lyon.

Surrounded by vineyards, a charming golden stone farmhouse located in a tranquil rural setting just outside the beautiful village of Charnay (population: c.1000) and just 30 minutes from the culture & restaurants of the city of Lyon.

Set around a secluded courtyard, the house boasts a private pool in a 800m2 garden with views of vineyards and looking up to the village (about 1 km away).

Four large bedrooms allow a comfortable stay for up to eight adults.

The modern kitchen (induction ho; oven; microwave etc.) has easy access for outdoor dining; a large dining table in the covered courtyard allows you to enjoy the long warm summer evenings over a barbecue

The beautiful countryside of the Beaujolais is much loved by the French for its hiking and cycling trails, while those in search of culture can roam the ancient streets of Lyon and discover its beauty and history.

Easy access from Lyon, St. Exupéry Airport and the A6 and A89 motorways.

Fast perfekt…

Das Haus liegt wunderschön in den Weinbergen und ist sehr stilvoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Die ganze Anlage an sich ist wunderschön! ABER: von den 5 Betten müssten 4 dringend erneuert werden. Darauf schlafen ist nicht so toll. Des Weiteren fehlt zumindest oben eine Klimaanlage. Nächtliche Hitze in schlechten Betten sorgt nicht für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Fliegengitter wären zumindest eine gute Zwischenlösung. Die gibt es aber leider nicht. Dann noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten: neues Kochgeschirr, bessere Schneidemesser und eine neue Kapselkaffeemaschine:-) Ansonsten alles gut.
