Welcome to Maggie Cabin at Wauhatchie Woodlands, a Timberroot Rustic Retreat. During your stay, you will have access to a range of amenities, including a private hot tub with curtained cabana, furnished back deck, shared fire pit, covered front porch with a charcoal grill, and a charming space surrounded by nature. Maggie Cabin sleeps up to six guests and features a main bedroom, built-in bunk beds, and a sleeping loft.
Trains & noise
Chattanooga is a city known for its railroads. There are active train tracks that border the property to the north and I-24 is about half a mile away. Please note that light sleepers may be affected by the ambient city and train noise. Each cabin has been equipped with a white noise machine to help minimize any disturbance. A cabin in the woods is what we were looking for. Looked exactly like the pictures and smelled like a cabin inside. It had everything we needed for our stay. My husband and I are railroaders so we actually liked the train tracks out back. We will definitely be back.

Cute little cabin

Cute little cabin village! Love it, but as others mentioned it is very close to 2 sets of railroads and they stop all the time which makes them screach when they stop and the bang when they start back up. The loft stairs are quite steep so keep that in mind for little ones. Overall the cabin is very cozy and perfect for a little getaway with family.

It was a lovely cabin exactly as described. The interior was spotless clean. Very comfortable bed and the cabin has everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and a wonderful addition to the stay. Close to Ruby falls and everything downtown.

Extremely clean and comfortable. The only drawback is some noise from the train.It isn't terrible, but you do notice it. I'd still stay here again despite that because everything else was so perfect.

Great Forest Cabin

Overall we all loved how spacious and accommodating the cabin was for about 500 sqft. The cabin community was in the forest so close to shops, groceries, downtown and much more. There is 1 major reason we could not give this 5 stars, the community was closely bordered by train tracks. Trains ran multiple times a day and in the night which made for loud outdoor time and interrupted sleep. I'd take these cabins any day, just not near trains.

Charming Cabin

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in this sweet trackside cabin. Amenities galore, great communication, easy location to shopping and hiking. Loved the hot tub, washer/dryer and well stocked kitchen. Thanks!

Wonderful girls trip

We had a perfect time staying at Maggie Cabin. Every detail was amazing, from the Christmas tree to the Bible study on the coffee table, to the hot tub being at the right temp when we arrived. Just all spot on. Highly recommend this stay

Nice Weekend Getaway

I loved this little place! If you arent a fan of trains, might not be the best for you, but I found it very relaxing. We LOVED getting in the hot tub each night and the size of the cabin was perfect for us.

Awesome experience!!!

We loved staying here and can't wait to come back! This particular cabin is very close to the train tracks, so would recommend staying in another cabin at the resort, a bit further away from the train tracks. The mattress in the master bedroom was also extremely firm, but it seems like it is brand new, and has just not been used very much yet. I absolutely recommend this cabin!!!
