Large comfortable room with large TV and super shower room/WC. Nice warm pool. Easy access to Cotswolds. All hotel EV chargers out of service. Found fast chargers elsewhere. Room was a long walk from reception: room numbers over 299 a significant walk from reception/ dining/ pool including up and down stairs when going back and forth. My rating is 8 out of 10 overall.

The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful. However there didn’t seem to be enough of them, for example, we had lunch in the bar when we arrived as we were a little early to check in. Several others were also eating at the same time. We later checked in, went to our room, went for a walk and then returned to the bar (at least 1 hour later) and at least 3 tables had still not been cleared. We also had an issue with the toiletries in the bathroom, both the hand wash and shower gel were empty, we told reception but they were not refilled during our entire stay. On a positive note, parking was easy and reasonably priced. There is a bus stop 200 yards down the road for easy access to Cheltenham centre.

We had a lovely night at this hotel when attending one night at the 2000 Trees festival nearby. The girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. All were very clean. Our room was soa ious enough for 3 adults. The air con was very welcome in the 30 degree heat outside and the beds were super comfy. We would not hesitate to come back.
