Beautiful rustic log cabin home, with WIFI, steps away from Snowbird Creek. Perfectly located, just minutes from the Cherohala Skyway and the Tail of the Dragon. Large wrap around porch is great for entertaining or relaxing. Has a very cozy feel that includes all hardwood floors and rustic knotty pine interior with gas log fireplace. Awesome trout fishing, hiking, whitewater rafting, and 4-wheeling in your backyard! Just minutes away is Santeelah Lake. Also close by is Harrah's Cherokee Casino and popular mountain town Bryson City. You will fall in love with this area!

We booked this cabin for a last-minute getaway with our kids for New Years. The cabin is beautiful, well-equipped, and was immaculate upon our arrival. We spent most of our time exploring the area and spent our evenings enjoying the fire pit by the creek. I truly could not have asked for more. I actually cried when we pulled away from the cabin on departure day. Our family made some really beautiful memories here. Thank you to the owner for sharing this special place with us.

Second year at this house, Stayed 2 weeks this year. 1st year Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans,etc..this year half the cabinets were empty and then handles on pots were loose, tried to tighten but just came loose again. Borrowed a pot from cousins who live in the area. There were no issues at all last year with wifi. This year, it was horrible. Contacted owner, who was very nice, but advised me to go into town and sit at McDonald's to use their wifi, but last 2 days out of a 14 day stay it worked without going out. Television and grill Definitely need updated. Beautiful location, river behind house is wonderful! Grandsons loved rafting, swimming and fishing. Sitting on the back deck is very relaxing and peaceful.

What a wonder, serene, cozy place to be! The drive across the bridge and down the lane to the concrete parking pad worked well for our sports cars. After a long day of driving it was a pleasure to stay at this creekside cabin!

Beautiful backyard and porch right on the river. Couldn’t have asked for better views and ambiance. My only issue(and mind you I am a bit of a germaphobe)
 I needed to wash every single thing before I used it in the kitchen many of the utensils, pans, and dishes I pulled out were really not clean at all. The pans were gross and greasy like they were never washed clean from previous uses and even smelled terrible when I heated them up. Both sponges left were used and smelled bad so I needed to go buy a new one. Other than that, everything was perfectly fine and clean and the area was beautiful . Would definitely recommend and next time I may just bring my own pan 😃

Wonderful cottage, on Snowbird Creek. As the grandchildren said, “it’s pretty remote but really fun”. We played in the creek, scootered up Big Snowbird to end of the pavement, hiked Huckleberry Trail, found new ice cream truck ( best ice cream ever with homemade waffle cones), saw eagle going down the creek, listened to roosters across the street. Cabin was well supplied. Steps are steep to upstairs, but boys loved the bunk room and galley way upstairs. Yard with fire pit was spacious, clean. The porch, oh my, wrap around, large, great rockers, grill. All just across street and road from our old home place. Thanks so much.

I was amazingly surprised with this property. I choose it because of the river location and the high cleaning comments. It actually exceeded my expectations. Everything was great and we will be back for sure. If you are like me and need to read many comments to decide
.read no more this is an amazing place. The only thing I would suggest to change is the garbage process. You need to bring your garbage with you to the sanitary location. With a car full of our stuff and the family, we have to also bring trash to the sanitary location.not a terrible thing but inconvenient.

So good we came back

This property is secluded and away from everything while still being close to town. A great place to spend the week with family. We loaded up on groceries on the way and didn't really need to leave after that. Crazy amount of fish in the river while still being great for the kids to play.

We found this beautiful cabin to be of high quality in facilities and decor. All of our needs were met and more. We felt safe during our stay and didnt want to leave.
