Clean, comfortable, and quiet suites with great Mountain Views and a block from downtown Bryson. Also a short driving distance of the NC side of the Smoky Mountain Park.
WOW! What a great experience. I planned a getaway for my parents 21st anniversary mom's birthday which featured this as their stay. They had a wonderful time! Ed, the innkeeper, collaborated with me in setting this up. He even purchased them locally baked pastries as a "birthday/anniversary" local fare gift. Wonderful experience, they said they want to visit Bryson City again, I know where they will be staying :)
The proprietor, Ed, took pride in the establishment. There was time taken and attention to detail in the room, as well as the outside of the Inn, being decorated for Christmas. The room was clean and very accommodating. The Inn was in walking distance to dining, shops, and the train depot. I would definitely stay at Calhoun Inn & Suites again and highly recommend it to those travelling to that area, or for those looking for a weekend get-a-way.
Friendly hosts, provided more then I was expecting Great small town lots going on,..Beautiful scenery. Will stay there again and recommend to my friends.
Excellent. Highly recommend! The Treehouse sweet was amazing, super clean. Has everything you could possibly need. Great balcony view. Only regret is we didn't stay longer!
This very old home converted, it appears, to a number of separate rentals, was very unique! Tho we arrived late at night to leave mid morning we didn't leave much time to explore the full character of this home. Thank you for the speedy and professional responses.
Sadly we were only there for 1 night. We wish our trip was for a couple so we could have enjoyed more of Bryson City and the Calhounâs hotel. So very quaint! Lovely big porch with rocking chairs. The morning we checked out it was raining. So we sat on the porch drinking coffee and listening to the rain.
