Book with confidence as we have earned the VRBO Premier Partner status! Newer construction 2020 STUNNING log cabin nestled in the heart of Maggie Valley! Amazing year round mountain views located in quaint Crockett's Meadow. Sit in the rocking chairs or at the firepit. From the sixteen foot porch you can watch the elk and fireflies surrounding the cabin. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Less than 10 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Thirty minutes to Asheville. Fifteen minutes to the ski resort.

Linger Longer Elk Lodge has 1450 sq. ft. of living space plus a huge wrap around deck. All of this located at the end of a quiet paved road and no steep roads. This charming cabin has a beautiful stone gas fireplace, granite countertops, a live log beam, and a beautiful rustic staircase.

The cabin has 3 bedrooms and two baths. There are 2 plush king size beds and 1 queen bed. The master bedroom has a shower while the upstairs bath is a bathtub/shower combination.
There is some new construction in the area.

Could not have been better. Property was even better than expected. I spent time talking to and getting to know the neighbors, all very nice people. Spectacular views yet close to everything we needed, even saw an elk walking across the street. Communication with the owner was second to none. She replied promptly to every question, supplied area information, no detail left undone.

Quiet Getaway

We were looking for quiet tranquility with a view. Even though you have neighbors everyone is friendly and respects your privacy. Cabin is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. However the killer is the outside deck. Even when it rains you have plenty of cover to sit it out. We did not try out the fire pit because we were too lazy. Definitely a cabin I would return too many times.

Girls trip!!

We had the most amazing weekend in this perfect little cabin! It’s so cozy and relaxing! The elk were only a few yards away every morning and evening! They are so beautiful grazing in the fields around the cabin! Great local restaurants and real close to Cherokee! Can’t wait to go again!!

We came during an arctic blast
.lows in the single digits. This cabin was the absolute perfect place to settle in and take in the mountains feels. The fire pit was so relaxing while watching the elk play and eat around us.

Cabin Like-New Condition!

From the moment my family arrived, we were impressed by the Like-New condition of this cabin. It appears as all upgradeable options were selected in the construction process, and it has been professional maintained. We would most certainly stay here again if we find ourselves returning to Maggie Valley.

Relaxing Stay

My husband and I decided to stay a few days in Maggie Valley. The location of this home is perfect. It’s easy to find and convenient to everything we wanted to do. The home was spotless and comfortable. We saw elk each day and that was definitely one of the reasons we chose this home. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect Family getaway❀

I have nothing but beautiful things to say about this property. It really was the most perfect vacation. It snowed during our stay. It was our first time experiencing it and it was just magical. The kids loved it. The dogs had so much fun also! We all enjoyed and also thanks to the owner for being so kind and responsive to everything! You made it so easy for us from check in to check out! This was my 3rd time staying at the cabin. A friend of mine from middle and high school days joined me this time. We relaxed, caught up and lost our voices from talking too much. Always a pleasure to stay here, beautiful views, easy access and a quiet neighborhood. I hope to return again.

Perfect Fall Vacation

The house was beautiful and location great. The neighborhood is growing but this house was on end of street with no houses behind it. Picked this place primarily to see elk and we weren’t disappointed. Saw elk every day (5 day stay). Norma was quick to respond to our questions. Disappointed that we weren’t able to use the fireplace (pilot light out) but really wasn’t cold. Great stay.
