The Lazy Laurel feels secluded tucked at the end of the cul-de-sac of a small mountain neighborhood but is located less than 20 minutes from Blue Ridge or Ellijay. Relax to the soothing sounds of nearby Fightingtown Creek and enjoy 180 degree year-round mountain views from the porch, hot tub and large newly built fire pit area. With a fully stocked kitchen, game room and cozy fireplace, this cabin is an ideal retreat for couples and small families. Pet-friendly features include a built in dog gate on the patio.

Layout: Our two-story cabin offers a private bedroom and full bathroom on each floor, providing plenty of space and privacy for your group. The top floor features a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar.

Downstairs, the game room is the perfect hangout spot. The space includes a pool table, air hockey, darts, and a large smart TV. Just off the game room is a separate queen bedroom and full bath.

Outside, the top-floor porch has a built-in gate to keep pets and toddlers safe while you enjoy the year-round mountain views. On the lower deck, you'll find our hot tub and a fire pit—perfect for a peaceful evening under the stars.

The cabin was awesome. My son and I were looking for some well deserved rest and relaxation and this place was it. It was peaceful and quiet with lots of birds singing and the sound of the creek running was very pleasant. We had a great time in The Man Cave game room. We hope to visit again next year.

We absolutely LOVED staying at the Lazy Laurel Cabin! Jamie was quick to respond to any message (although we didn't have to reach out-other than to request an extra night) and we had all we needed for a relaxing 3 night getaway. This cabin is perfectly located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge where we enjoyed the shops and dining. Our dog loved the gated porch where he could sunbathe and take in the fresh air. And the view, so spectacular. We even loved the rain on the metal roof. Thank you, for a relaxing vacation.

The cabin was very cozy, big temperature difference between floors. Very clean, was able to cook full meals. Very accommodating for our 2 teens and small dogs. We had fun with the puzzles and games, and enjoyed the fireplace and firepit, and loved the sounds and the views. The beds were comfortable and appreciated the extra blankets. Host reached out before with any questions, but we did great and had a wonderful time. We really, really appreciated that it was decorated so nicely for Christmas. Coming from Florida, it was exactly the scene we needed.

Host was extraordinarily welcoming and the environment and setup of the cabin felt like you were back at home. Host made sure that all the essentials you might need were provided at the cabin and was nice enough to give enough to last a few days like toilet paper, paper towels, and coffee pods. One of the best getaways you could ask for, would absolutely return in the future!

Truly amazing hosts who really do care about their guests. They will go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a great stay. We had an issue with hot tub on arrival. Jamie was very quick to respond and took care of the issue promptly. Cabin was clean. Bed was comfortable. Saw deer on the property most mornings. Deck was relaxing spot. Fireplace heats up the cabin quickly with just a touch of a button. Very enjoyable stay.

Your cabin was immaculate, comfortable, and just as pretty as the pictures! It was the perfect layout for our family of 4..... my husband and I enjoyed the main floor, while our teens claimed the downstairs bedroom and game room as their hangout. (The pool table and mini-fridge was a huge hit!) Our pup loved the gated porch most of all - we spent countless hours out there enjoying the stunning views. I slept like a baby every night (which speaks volumes for the comfort of your beds) and we hardly left the property during our 5-night stay. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Leave your troubles at home!

This was a wonderful cabin! The view was spectacular from the covered porch. There were cabins in close proximity but you would never know it because of the way it was situated on the lot—very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the fire-pit also and being able to have our pup with us. Lots to do in the area for those looking to get out. Perfection!

The cabin was in a great location with nice waterfall sounds. It was within minutes of Blue Ridge DT. The hosts had the cabin fully stocked and ready for our arrival. The hosts were very communicative. We will be back for sure!
