Staff were all kind and helpful. Easily the hotels best attribute. Our room was a slight disappointment, with the view facing closed buildings and alleys. I'd probably ask for a room on the opposite side for a beautiful landscape view. The room felt in need of a refresh and livening up, but we did so much we really only showered and slept. Which were accommodated without issue.

Disappointed

Disappointed from arrival. No car parking spaces at the hotel even though the car park said spaces. Car park was very tight casing me to kerb my alloy wheel on arrival. Once parked off site the check in took 35mins. 18 people in the queue to check in before us all complaining. No sorry from reception. Room was terribly dated, dirty and noisy as the windows are old and don’t reduce the road noise. On top of the poor service we only had one towel in the bathroom for 2 people??? Very poor and very brand damaging. I will never stay in a crown plaza again.

Although room was book for two adults and 1 child (13 year old), at time of booking age of child is required, the sofa bed was not made up in the room. Requested the front desk to make up the bed, their response was as it was not requested in the booking the bed was not made and had to wait 45mins as night staff was undergoing a shift change. Additionally the room was not set for three people with no towels etc. excellent location but room is dated. On the doorstep of the city centre with plenty of restaurants and town centre walking distance.
