Good services at a good price

Prompt service and helpful. Excellent price for location, condition of rooms and free breakfast. Only thing I would change is the coffee that is dispensed for breakfast.

Well located and reasonably priced

Very welcoming staff and the downstairs was clean and well maintained. Next to the racecourse the hotel parking was effortless, paying at the manned entry booth with either cash or card. The room's sofa bed cannot really be used as a sofa as when you sit on either end, you roll into the middle. Road noise on the road side, may seem obvious but loud even when dry, or pay extra for a racecourse side room. A 5 minute walk into the city centre with everything that has to offer.

Over night stay

Hotel is a 10 min walk of Chester city centre and is right on the race course if that’s your reason for coming. Over all hotel is in good condition. There is a bar for residents though choice is limited. Room was clean and comfortable with choices of pillows. Tea and coffee are also in the room along with a hair dryer. We didn’t get a great nights sleep as there is a busy road next to the hotel, as rooms don’t have A/C you have to open the window for ventilation. I wasn’t happy at being charged for parking £10. As the Hotels.com website said it was free. Though this is more to do with hotels.com than the hotel.
