Great time.

Pros: The breakfast was great. The option of turkey sausage was great.
Cons: The Bed was as hard the floor.
Location: Great!
The room was nice and spacious.nice and Clean. The the hot water didn't ru. Out once.

Would Definitely Return

Pros: Super friendly staff and a great free breakfast selection.
Location: Scooters is a nice little restaurant to grab a burger, pizza, etc. Small but inviting. Route 4 Cafe is also a great choice.
For a small town, this HI Express was an excellent choice to stay. I was in town for business and travelling around IL for the week. I stayed at more expensive hotels but this one had the friendliest staff, best amenities, and free cookies! If I ever go back to Sparta I will definitely be booking this hotel for my stay.

Nice Hotel

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
The hotel is very nice. However, we had a second floor room, and the windows did not have any curtains that close, only a sheer. The lights were very bright in the parking lot and the parking lot next door and therefore it was difficult to sleep.

Very clean!

This was my second stay at this hotel. It's very clean and the bedding is extremely comfortable. The staff could be friendlier and I was surprised that the price was so high for a small town. No complaints on the hotel itself though. Everything was very clean and new looking.
