Interesting neighborhood and location to main road

Location: Close to major highways and interstates, white castle, gas stations, police station, only 6 miles from Great Lakes Naval base visitor center, 6 flags.
I was not sure about the neighborhood, when I got there, but it is close to a local police station, and it was only 4 miles from the Naval base I was visiting. The room was basic, but everything worked with no issues, and the TV did have over 500+ cable channels. It was close to restaurants and a plus was the location to major roads. The hotel desk staff was accessible all day. You could access them at night with the ring of a bell at the desk. Some of the clientele was interesting and suspect, but I didn't have any issues with them and was able to get a good sleep the 2 nights I was there. For the price and the location it was a good economical choice for my short visit. No frills but the hotel meet my requirements for the visit I had scheduled. Running water, a bed, a TV, electricity, good shower, and AC.

It was okay.

Just to confirm my reservation, i wasnt able to reach an actual person through the phone. Kept on ringing and ringing. Tried to call them a couple of times. The hotel itself is okay. It's good for the price. It's not that fancy but if youre trying to look for a place with a decent bed, then it'll suffice. I've stayed in way much fancier hotels probably why Im not that satisfied with this one. But anyhow, it's good for the price. Won't go back here though. I'd rather pay extra.
