My husband and went to enjoy a night here for his birthday. The staff was tad bit helpful .I loved the pool and jacuzzi! My room although had some minor issues some light bulbs not working while there had very poor lighting.

Price for the location was unbeatable. Walking distance to the museum campus, close to several CTA stops, great view from the room, awesome spot all around. Bed was comfortable, breakfast spread was fantastic. Will definitely return!

The staff were nice, the valet was quick, and the front desk staff were helpful. Our room was spacious but the bathroom shower had mold along the caulk seams and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The towels were awful. The edges were torn and frayed on about 50% of them. The pool was a bit cool but overall well kept. Would I stay again? If I had a choice, likely not, but it is one of the few hotels in the area with a kitchen and at a decent price.

Breakfast area host on Saturday wasn’t friendly. Did not help on situating chair’s since the table didn’t have chairs and others guests had taken all the chairs to other tables. When I asked her for a chair she said “go over to the other side and find one yourself”. It took place at 0930 8th floor breakfast area.

I have made a tradition of staying at this hotel for my birthday and I love it this time. I got a high floor so I had a great view at night. The staff were very friendly. The housekeeping was also attentive and friendly. I will definitely book again for my birthday in January.
