The staff at the Blake are AWESOME! From Sherrita to the concierge (we didn't get his name--but I love his sparkly Santa hat), to the room maintenance team, everything was great! The room had exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the pillows (I like 'em fluffy) were what we wanted/needed and the 'appointments' were great! We also appreciated the ability to set the thermostat to a temperature that suits us when we sleep (we like the cooler side). The restaurant associated with the Blake was tasty and perfect for breakfast and the bill ($) was what we anticipated. My husband's sons/my step sons live in Chicago and when we return, we will definitely stay at the Blake.

The bathroom was clean, if you notice white substance around the sinks and shower head, it is just hard water. Nothing to be alarmed about. The room is very clean and the view from the window is very nice. The room is not sound proof from the outside noises like emergency vehicle sirens or car horns, but they do have new ear plugs on the side of the bed if needed. Overall, amazing stay and it is close to most things within the city.

Beautiful property. That's well kept. Excellent staff. The room was very large, and the bathroom was huge. I would absolutely stay there again. The beds were comfortable, I really don't have any complaints. Being a few blocks off Michigan Avenue wasn't too bad. Also, pretty quiet inside considering where the hotel is.
