Absolutely Heartless – Zero Compassion or Customer Service
I had a family emergency and contacted La Quinta/Expedia to either cancel, move the check-in date, or at least offer a credit. The response? A cold, robotic "no." No flexibility, no understanding, and definitely no empathy. All they cared about was keeping my money. I explained the seriousness of the situation — a critical family illness — and was met with indifference.
As I write this, my family member has just passed away. So thank you, La Quinta and Expedia, for the outstanding care and top-notch service you didn’t provide during one of the worst times of my life. Your refusal to help or even show a shred of humanity is disgusting. I will never book through you again, and I highly recommend others avoid you as well.
