Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly/helpful and the room was satisfactory. However, the hotel did not appear to be overly booked and we were placed next to a mechanical room that had a terribly loud sound every so often. I’m assuming steam water pipes??? Woke us up repeatedly. There had to be equivalent rooms available in a better area.

The room and most of the floor of around the room, smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Was informed after I had already checked in that there was no breakfast available in the morning. The hotel lobby has a nice aesthetic, but the stay was a disappointment.

Amazing experience, went to stay there to see the phantom of the opera, amazing performance, the one thing I wish I was told when I checked in was to use my room key to operate elevator, otherwise it was an amazing stay in a historic building, I would definitely return, clean and comfortable.
