Excellently managed room, secondary glazing so absolutely no noises from the road. Slept very well, but i do think a kingsize bed would fit in the room. It could be a slight squeeze, in the main, very comfortable. Shower room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was super. Nicely cooked full english as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc.., not too much on the plate but enough for a full day ahead. Good selection of teas.. A real find as we enjoyed a christmas ball at Goodwood. If we come over this way again, we would defintly book again!

Stayed at The Old Store guest house with my daughter for 2 nights. We loved everything about our stay. Spacious room in the eves, very clean, very comfortable bed, well appointed room, plenty room in the shower room to lay out your toiletries, good shower, lovely view over the countryside. Loved the dining room with its big rustic style tables. We are happy to share a big table with others. Great breakfast, good home cooked food. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. Chichester was an easy drive away and a delightful small city to visit. Would definitely return.

Quiet, lovely, convenient

We loved our stay here. The property is in a lovely quiet but convenient location. The rooms are well appointed and clean. There is a very helpful list of places to eat nearby. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The owners were very welcoming. I can’t recommend this guest house enough.

We chose the old store because it's in a lovely area. Our host was friendl helpful and we had a very nice breakfast prepared by him. The building itself is charming and characterful but unfortunately the interior and the budget furnishings did disappoint.

Grade 2 listed B&B in Chichester

A really great little grade 2 listed B&B. Hosts are very knowledgeable, warm and know their gursts. Breakfast is excellent with a good choice. Well equipped rooms with a refeshment tray. Rooms are en-suite, supplied with toiletries. In a good area for walking can recommend the windmill trail and close to Goodwood.

Amy and Matt were fabulous hosts and the room was spotless, well appointed and cosy. Very close to Goodwood hotel and house, a short walk through the fields of just under a mile gets you a great dinner at Farmer, Butcher, Chef, as we did. The breakfast at The Old Store is absolutely knockout!

Couple retreat

Such a lovely quaint B&B . My husband stayed here the night before our wedding 12 years ago, we returned for a valentines treat and it did not disappoint. Beautifully renovated, clean and easy check in processes. Breakfast was lovely. Hosts were so welcoming and friendly. 100% recommend
