This property has a location that is rich with amenities. Situated right next to Memorial Park, you can sit on the deck and enjoy the water views as the kids run and play, or fish and crab at the waterfront Memorial Park. The first floor is an open room consisting of the kitchen, dining area and living room (with queen sleeper sofa). You'll also find a full bath on this level. The second floor offers a queen bedroom with a private deck that has unlimited views of the Assateague Channel! The second bedroom has two twin beds and you'll find another full bathroom upstairs as well. Come and see for yourself! (Waterfront areas, dock, pier and playground area pictured are public property/Memorial Park.)

Lovely property

This is a lovely place. The inside is comfortable and nicely arranged. It has a great view of the water for the porch sitters, as well as fishing, tennis and more for the people who like activities, so everyone in our family could find something to do when we were at the house. The master bedroom is lovely (have to like light in the morning unless they've since added curtains in addition to the blinds); the second bedroom is small, it has good light blocking. Small quibble. The washer and dryer are right off the main area so there is some noise when they are running.

Fall RoundUp Getaway

Clean, comfortable, quiet rental with water views from the porch. If you’re a fisherman or woman this property offers plenty of dock space within a short walk from your front steps. Or if you’re like me, you can enjoy drinking coffee and watching your family fish from the comfort of the front porch or balcony. We also enjoyed our first fall roundup watching the ponies run across the marsh and then watching them at the coral. What a beautiful site! The beach is a few short minutes away and don’t forget to stop in at the lighthouse on your way in. We (family of 3) would definitely recommend booking here and if you are a larger family rent both units and have the whole house to yourself! Thank you Lea!

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay here for our anniversary trip with our toddler. It was cozy and comfortable and we enjoyed being right on the water with the playground. Unit was clean and the beds were very comfortable.

Amazing Vacation

We loved the townhouse - it was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Everything we needed to make our vacation comfortable was available. And the view was spectacular - one morning we were able to see the ponies on the beach across the water from us! Would love to come back again!

Lovely spot -- but need to bring linens

Property is great, location is great, easy access to park boat ramp for launching anything you like. Great parking, lovely little waterfront walk w piers in the park. Just need to bring sheets and towels.

Lovely house in a beautiful location

We really enjoyed our time at Channel Overlook. Being right at the park was so nice. The kids took advantage of the playground and park, and I enjoyed walking along the water each morning and evening. And even though we're on the east side of the island, we saw gorgeous sunsets every night. The house itself was well-stocked with dishes, utensils, pots, and pans. It was nice to sit out on the porch and the balcony - and having a choice of either was great, depending on the time of day and temperature.

Clean, convenient, and a great location!

The house was impeccably clean when we arrived! The location at Memorial Park was perfect for our family, although if you're looking for a quiet getaway where you won't have a lot of "people noise" or traffic near you this might not be the best place for you. We enjoyed the proximity to the playground and the pier at the park, where you can fish without a license. The view of the water from the front porch and balcony was lovely. The property is close to amenities and comfortable, although I will say the mattress in the queen bedroom was firmer than any I've ever experienced, so if you have trouble sleeping on a firm mattress you might want to bring a mattress topper or something. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back next year!

Great vacation home and location

The property was e accurately portrayed in the photos. The location was great, with a park and playground nearby. Even though we went as a couple, it would be a great spot for a family with kids. It was easy to get to the National Refuge, restaurants and shops. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed except that no hairdryers were provided. I wish I knew that ahead of time. As any woman will tell you, it’s not good to start out the day with bad hair! We would highly recommend this property and hope to return soon with our grandkids.

Nice getaway with friends in a beautiful setting

Best thing about this unit is the beautiful setting with water views from both bedrooms, second floor deck, and front porch. We had an enjoyable weekend away with good friends. The furnishings are adequate but not high quality. The main downside was limited supplies--no dish soap, no sponge, and no dish towels made it hard to clean the dishes. Adequate utensils, cookware, and plates/glasses, but also limited (e.g., only three wine glasses). And no spices or any cooking supplies that we often find in vacation rentals.

Quick Getaway

We really enjoy Chincoteague off-season--no crowds, no mosquitoes, and mild weather. The house is comfortable and clean, and the kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils (but strangely only 3 wine glasses). The check-in was contactless, and the management company was prompt with replies. Do remember to bring your own linens, dish towels, toilet paper and hand soap. The TV in the main level is Roku, and we plugged in our fire stick to watch movies from our accounts. We would stay here again :)

The Property was excellent. The deposit refund, not so much.

Everything about the property was excellent. Check-in was easy. But we left the property in an immaculate condition and do not understand why Management holds the deposit to the 29th day after departure.
