A very nice place at a good value

Pros: comfortable, clean, with kitchen facilities
Location: Local restaurants of excellence in the immediate area included the Sema's Thai Cuisine, Tomi Japanese Restaurant, and Coriander's Indian Restaurant.
This motel was located relatively close to the city centre, with several excellent restaurants nearby. It had a workable kitchen area, fridge, stove and dishware which allowed us to have some meals within the room. It was a pleasant stay while we explored the city and area in both comfort and clean surroundings. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. This was a very nice place at a good value. A market was nearby, which was very helpful.

Nice Motel

Pros: Clean room.
Cons: Not sure! It is a "mom & pop" motel
Location: Several places to eat within walking distance
First of all this is a"mom &pop" motel.It is not a Marriott. It is not expensive. The road noise is loud. The service is minimal.You get what you pay for. Christchurch is not a city of Marriotts, Westins etc
