The Flat is NON SMOKING and situated in superb position on the Christchurch bank of the River Stour. It is self contained and south facing in a quiet location about 12 minuteswalk from Christchurch town centre and 6 miles from the centre of Bournemouth.
The Flat is NON SMOKING. It will accommodate up to 4 people but i do not take pets or children under 8 years old or babies. Fishing available in season. FREE Wifi and USB charging point are available in the Flat.
FLAT DETAILS
The flat is a modern first floor extension to the owners own home. It is completely self contained and well furnished throughout and maintained to a high standard by the owner who ensure it is thoroughly cleaned between each let.There is one bedroom with two 3ft single beds, a bathroom with a large walk in shower and a lounge/diner which includes a fully equipped kitchen area. The lounge has a 10ft patio door opening onto a large balcony suitable for sunbathing or dining on fine days, a patio set and 2 sun loungers with cushions are provided. In the lounge there is also a comfortable fold down 4ft 6in double bed (not a put u up) and thus the flat
will accommodate 4 persons in comfort. The flat is in excellent decorative order and double glazed throughout. A new SMART TV for 2025. All beds
are made up with linen and duvets prior to arrival .All bed linen and tea towel are provided free of charge. Towels are not provided.
AMENITIES
The nearest beach at Southbourne is just a few minutes away by car. Beaches at Boscombe Bournemouth and Mudeford are also reached within 10 to 15 minutes drive. There are picturesque riverside walks along both banks of the river and pleasure boat trips operate regularly to Mudeford beach. There are also self-drive motor boats and rowing boats for hire. Being a holiday area there are many restaurants, golf courses and sporting facilities nearby including Christchurch Leisure Centre , Littledown, and Bournemouth International centre. The old priory
town of Christchurch, with its Saxon square shopping precinct has a variety of
restaurants, pubs, historical buildings and museums all within walking distance.
FACILITIES
Parking . There is plenty of off-road parking in the wide gravel drive.
Shops. The nearest convenience store is in Stour road approx 400 metres away (5 minutes walk). Tuckton village has a variety of shops and is about 10 minutes walk away.
Bus. Frequent bus services run to both Bournemouth and Christchurch from the bus stops which are within 100 metres of the property.
Rail. The station is approx 1 mile away. There is a taxi service available there.
Fishing and garden Please note guests are welcome to fish from the end of the garden in season with a rod license . Maximum 2 rods Please be aware the river is unfenced. There will be a boat moored on one of the jetties so you will have to fish around the boat. Guests are welcome to use the garden and benches overlooking the river but not the ground floor patio area and furniture..

Location, location, location!

Fabulous stay in a very clean and comfortable apartment fronting the river. You just cant beat those views. Host was delightful and a font of local information, nothing was too much trouble. Easy parking and great access to Christchurch town centre. Would love to stay there again.

Great location

We were so lucky to get a cancellation for this property. You couldn't wish for a better location. The flat is situated right on the river with a view to die for. It has a large balcony where you can sit or lounge on the sun loungers. The flat was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Will return if we get the chance.

Just Perfect

A lovely property, very comfortable accommodation, in an ideal situation. Very convenient to everything, Ferries, on bus route etc. Nice to be able to park your car up and leave it for the duration of your holiday, the view from the balcony is an ever changing scene on the busy river...the hosts are friendly and helpful and will do everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. A flat in a superb location overlooking the River Stour with a short walk into the centre of Christchurch and a longer most enjoyable walk to Hengisbury Head. Good to have bus routes so accessible, and enjoyed the riverside walks. We stayed in early March. Welcomed by helpful owner who gave us a comprehensive instruction of the workings of the property which is well appointed, warm and snug. Comfortable beds, settee is a bit tired - got a backache. Two armchairs much better. Felt the sealing round the door (connecting with garage??) at the foot of the stairs could be improved. On entering, having been out all day, could detect a 'workshop' type paint/cellulose smell. It was not evident upstairs.

Spacious, light, comfortable, awesome views, great location.

We enjoyed lots of cycling each day around Christchurch, Bournemouth area plenty of fabulous natural sites too see. After being outdoors most of the day in all sorts of weather, it was especially comfortable to relax make a wonderful meal, wine and hot bath. Will hope to come again in the near future.

This property gave us everything we were looking for and more. Comfortable ,clean , well maintained property in an ideal location. Owners were very friendly and helpful explaining everything to us on arrival , and then leaving us to our own devices but assuring us they were on hand if needed. Views from the balcony were just beautiful so much to see without going out. So much to do within walking distance, or a bus stop at the top of the road we did not use the car much at all. This property certainly ticked all the boxes for us.

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment which was spacious & well furnished with comfy chairs & more importantly comfy beds. Plenty of room for car parking. Excellent Location

We just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable weeks stay at Willow Way. Pat and Graham made us feel very welcome for which many thanks. The apartment was immaculate and the views across the River Stour to Tuckton stunning. We were fortunate with the weather and where able to sit out on the veranda just watching people, in the words of the song, 'just messing about on the river'. Good location with just a pleasant stroll along the river into Christchurch. Definitely hope to return in the not too distant future.

A very enjoyable week

The property is in very good decorative order throughout, very clean and milk thoughtfully provided when we arrived. We were able to access much earlier than check-in which meant we had an extra days holiday so great communicators and lovely welcome. The balcony is lovely and a great asset for eating or lazing! All amenities very close by, we hardly used the car.
