Expansive Luxury Country Escape

We haven’t held back on comfort and modern luxuries. This unique retreat lets you enjoy the best of country life just 15 minutes from the heart of the city. Feed the pony, alpacas, fish, ducks, and pig — a hands-on farm experience for the whole family.

Unwind in the two hot tubs beneath the stars, or cozy up around the fire pit with your favourite show playing nearby. It’s the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and convenience.

The Space:
Built in 2018, this stunning and spacious 400-square-meter residence sits on a beautifully landscaped 5,000-square-meter property. Ideally located just 15 minutes from both the airport and the city centre, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and countryside relaxation.

Guests are invited to hand-feed a friendly collection of animals, including ducks, a pony, alpacas, and even goldfish — a delightful experience for families and animal lovers alike.

Unwind in one of the two hot tubs while watching cattle graze peacefully in the paddocks, or gather around the in-ground fire pit for a cozy evening under the stars with a glass of wine.

Inside, the home features two separate lounge areas with TVs — ideal for giving adults and kids their own space to relax. A secure in-ground trampoline adds an extra element of fun for younger guests.

The house includes one full bathroom with a toilet, two additional separate toilets, and an extra shower. The master bedroom also features a private ensuite for added comfort.

Please note, the owners occasionally stay in a completely separate and private on-site cottage. Both homes maintain a high level of privacy, with the only shared area being the parking space.

We kindly ask that guests keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm. There is ample parking available, including space for a large RV.

Guest Access:
During your stay, you'll have exclusive access to all the amenities and spaces within the property.

The Neighborhood:
Prebbleton is a suburb located in the southwest of Christchurch, New Zealand. It is known for its country-style living and peaceful atmosphere. With its mix of rural and residential properties, it offers a great escape from the busy city life while still being close enough to take advantage of all the amenities and facilities Christchurch has to offer. The community is close-knit, friendly, and offers a safe and secure environment for families. If you are looking for a relaxed and quiet lifestyle, Prebbleton is definitely worth considering.

Getting Around:
Property has helicopter access. Restaurants and hotel 5 mins from the property, 15 mins from the airport and central city.

Other Things to Note:
Plenty of secure on-site parking.
There is a separate private cottage located at the back corner of the property. The only shared area is the carpark, so at times, guests from the cottage may also be using the parking.

1 hour to Mt Hutt ski fields

Our strict rules: No loud noise outside after 10:00 pm. We are in a residential area, we have asked our neighbours to let us know about the noise, if you don't think you can honour this, we ask you not to book.
No parties, any gathering without prior approval will result in an immediate cancellation, with no refund.
Checkout is 10am. If you need a late checkout you must request is 24 hours beforehand.

No animals. No smoking inside - any smoking or animals inside will result in a $200 extra cleaning fee.
The house must be left in a reasonable state. Any extra cleaning required will be charged to you in full, at a rate of $60 per hour. Any damage, spills, or stain must be reported, if needed you may be charged for cost of replacement or cleaning.

Please note there are Amazon Alexa devices in this property, and there is a video doorbell on the front door. Also a Minut decibel reader used at the request of local council. This is outside only.

Additional Rules
Motorbikes or motorcycles strictly are not allowed on the property.

Any gang patches or gang association of any kind is strictly not allowed and will result in immediate eviction.

Interaction with Guests:
Occasionally we will be around to say hello and you will see us at animal feeding time. If you need anything let us know.
Owners may pop by to say hello and access the private cottage.
The only thing you share is a large amount of car parking.
Plenty of secure on-site parking.
