Welcome to Ocean’s Edge at Colony Cove located just steps away from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. Ocean’s Edge is located centrally on St. Croix’s North Shore, just a short drive from downtown Christiansted and their famous Harbor Boardwalk.

Ocean’s Edge is a modern styled, freshly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, beachfront/oceanfront condo in the gated community of Colony Cove. Located on the second floor, Ocean’s Edge offers 180-degree ocean views from your private gallery of crystal-clear Caribbean water, Buck Island, Downtown Christiansted, St. Thomas and St. John on a clear day. You can also watch the seaplane take off and land. Not to mention Ocean's Edge is a snorkeler's paradise with great snorkeling just out front!

Whether you plan to relax, explore or both, St. Croix has you covered. From breathtaking beaches, lush rainforest, shopping, dining, excursions and more.

Our condo features 2 king size beds and a queen size pull-out couch to accommodate 6. We welcome families and provide use of a pack-n-play and highchair. The family room and both bedrooms are conditioned by individual mini-split units. Each room is furnished with flat screen smart TV’s as well. Included is free unlimited Wi-Fi to ensure you keep up with your favorite social media outlets or stream your favorite show.

The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities if you choose to dine in, make your favorite island inspired beverage or enjoy coffee on the gallery. Nearby grocery stores, Food Town and GMAX convenience center are stocked with essentials to get you started. The kitchen includes a stacked washer and dryer for your convenience as well.

Please note: our family has animal allergies and for our health we keep this listing, which is our home, animal free. We are unable to host emotional support animals or pets and appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Colony Cove is a private gated community with access to the beach and pool, with parking included. You can enjoy relaxing poolside or on the white sand beach, just steps away.

Sargassum Seaweed Update:
The Caribbean Sea has been experiencing a higher volume of sargassum seaweed in recent years. While the staff at Colony Cove removes it daily, the seaweed can pile on the beach and when in large amounts, potentially create an unpleasant smell. We like to inform our guests because the seaweed could potentially prevent enjoyable use of our beach.

The sargassum seaweed is most prevalent during the hotter months of late July through September. This condition is unpredictable on a week-to-week basis and something that is out of our control. As a result, we cannot issue refunds as a result of sargassum.

Regarding the 1-star we received in April 2022: Since the guest booked through VRBO's partner, Expedia, I cannot respond to her review through my Owner's Dashboard. VRBO recognizes this as an issue and is working to resolve it. If you have any questions regarding the review please reach out to me directly to discuss.

Great Place to Stay

Unit was in terrific condition - appears to have been updated relatively recently, much of the kitchen equipment appeared to be pretty new. Looked out directly at the water, which was quite close (as shown in the photos). There was always a breeze (at least for our April visit), so we didn't need the a/c at all. The location was convenient for going in to Christiansted and for getting around the island in general. Overall, a great place to stay.

Fantastic Stay at Ocean's Edge

Ocean's Edge really does check all the boxes. We looked at other properties but felt Ocean's Edge was just a step above and now that our stay is complete I'm sure we are correct.The unit is one of the closest to the ocean in a condo complex not too far from Christiansted. The decor is fantastic and recently updated. Couches and chairs are comfortable and the bed was great. Kitchen had great appliances and a fantastic blender. The baths featured hand-held and rain shower options. I will note that hot water can be a bit difficult to generate at times, but it's the tropics and you don't need it too hot.There is also a great outdoor balcony where you can eat or just listen to the waves crash below. On the balcony you'll find most of the things you will need to enjoy St. Croix's beaches from beach chairs and a soft-sided cooler to sand toys for kids. There is an assortment of snorkel gear, though the fins were mostly child sized. Check in process is easy. The owner is generous with an 11AM local time checkout and makes the checkout process pretty painless too - other than the fact you have to leave.The rooms are pretty generously sized and the view from the master bedroom is unparalleled. The TV gets cable and a decent selection of channels with great sound. One of our best VRBO stays ever.

Perfect beachfront getaway for our week long trip!

Ocean’s Edge was an amazing place to stay for our first trip to St. Croix! The balcony view was spectacular! Inside, the entire place looked brand new! The beds were super comfy! The entire place had everything we needed and more!! The A/C and separate wall units in each room kept the place nice and cool! The colony cove community area was super quiet and the parking lot was so close to the stairs to our condo. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to St. Croix.

Amazing Views

My best friend and I stayed here the first week on June. We had an incredible time and absolutely loved the condo and location. The views in the morning were something I still miss!! We enjoyed the island, the beaches and the local cuisine. We really enjoyed taking a trip up to the Mt. Pellier Domino Club to feed the pigs beer! That was super cool. All in all, this condo and the host Gina were amazing. I would recommend this rental to everyone coming to the island for vacation.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views

This location was great and had all the items that we needed for our stay. Pool was next to us and the views from the balcony were gorgeous. Things we loved about this condo: Porch with amazing views of Buck Island and Green Cay Central location, which was good for exploring the island and had easy access to restaurants in Christiansted and short drive to grocery stores Condo is beautifully decorated and clean Had lots of beach amenities (beach towels, chairs, snorkels, pool noodles, floats, beach toys, cooler bag) Helpful books and information in the condo Outdoor area of the condo property is kept clean We did walk and swim on the beach out in front of the condo but wished we had water shoes, as it was a little rocky. We enjoyed exploring many beaches and restaurants around the island. Overall, we loved our stay and have already recommended the condo to other people.

Absolutely wonderful stay!

Ocean's Edge, with its amazing ocean and harbor views, was the perfect base for our STX vacation. Island Dream!

We enjoyed our week here! Phenomenal view from our lanai. Our spot was clean and well kept. Well supplied. Beautiful pool area too. We enjoyed walking along the beach and snorkeling off shore. Oceans Edge Perfection

We were fortunate to enjoy everything “Oceans Edge” has to offer during our two week stay. The only negative is we had to leave! This was our sixth year vacationing on the island and by far this property was our favorite. Within yards of the water the second floor unobstructed ocean views can’t be beat. The patio furniture offered great seating options and was our favorite place for morning coffee, and evening cocktails. The interior was very clean, up to date, and comfortable. The master and guest bedroom are on opposite ends providing privacy for everyone. The king beds in both rooms were high quality and very comfortable. All of the appliances are fairly new and performed well. If you are looking for a comfortable nicely appointed clean condo with breath taking views this is where you should stay. Gina is a wonderful host and I was timely with all communications. Thanks Gina !

Beautifully Renovated Property

Our condo has just been updated and has been beautifully done…bright, clean organized and generous with towels. Location was perfect as it was close the boardwalk in Christiansted where there are a lot of good restaurants. Don’t miss the people watching on the boardwalk. Beautiful sunrises from the balcony. Hosts were very responsive to any questions or requests. Definitely recommend staying here.

Exceptional Indeed!

A beautiful condo with amazing view! Don’t look any further! While intended as a vacation we unavoidably wound up working a great portion of the trip. The condo’s wifi accommodated three people on video calls on and/or about the same time with no issues. And what a view!! Made working somewhat less painful! The condo is fully stocked. From fully loaded kitchen, bath towels, to beach towels and chairs. Outdoor furniture on the balcony was comfortable and we spent a great deal of time outside. When arriving we dropped our luggage off first to assess what we needed to pick up and then ran to Food Town and Pueblos which were both close by to load up for the week. We had breakfast and lunch at the condo with dinners out most nights. Loved having coffee on the porch watching the sun come up each morning. We rented a car and had no trouble getting around. There was plenty of parking available within steps of the condo too. The property is well maintained and the pool offered great chairs for relaxing. Location was great with access to all the island had to offer. We enjoyed a great sunset cruise with @downsouthSTX charters, burgers @SchupesSTX and a nice dinner at Savant. Gina was responsive to all of our questions. We can’t wait to return!

My mom, husband, and I stayed at Ocean’s Edge last week. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condo was clean and decorated tastefully. The kitchen was stocked with things needed to prepare meals. The balcony is the best – it has great furniture, and a wonderful view. We opted to go downstairs and watch sunrises on the beach – it’s a great location to do that! It was nice that the condo had a washer and dryer. The beds and pillows were comfy. The owner was very friendly and responsive, answering any questions I had before and during our trip. Of the grocery stores we went to, the best was Market STX for price, selection, and cleanliness. Plaza was 2nd. Some of the things we did: *Hotel on the Cay (take ferry from boardwalk) *Cane Bay *Boat ride to Buck Island/Snorkel coral reefs at Buck Island. The beautiful coral reefs were amazing, and snorkeling there is by far my favorite thing we did while on St. Croix. There was such a variety of tropical fish. I just loved it. Afterward, we hung out and swam at Buck Island. It’s gorgeous here! Oh, and we saw a sea turtle come up to the surface on the way out there. *Rainbow Beach *St. George Botanical Gardens *Domino Club (Roti on Friday, Beer drinking pigs) Some Restaurants we ate at: BBQ at Hotel on the Cay The Landing Beach Bar Luncheria Beachside Cafe Rum Runners Coral By the Sea Brew STX Bleu Chocolat-bon bons This was a great vacation! The condo was everything I could have asked for. Thank you!

Awesome property and the owners communicate very well. The property was very comfortable and accommodating and we had a great time. Perfect Girls trip stay

Very relaxing stay at this property. I have owned my own vacation condo in the past (stayed in many) and it made me sad that I still do not own one. Clean. Cheerful. Comfortable. Beautiful. Relaxing. I loved it. I would recommend and go back. It was just what we needed. It has everything I the unit. Very easy to find. Bring your own small Bluetooth speaker. We always do. If the condo had one, I couldn’t find. But no biggie. Kitchen and grill by the pool were perfect for our own meals. Grocery stores were very well stocked and could find everything we needed. We sat and played the four rounds of trivia cards that are with the games in the condo. That was hilarious. Thank you, it was awesome. And serene.
