Oceanfront Condo: Four Steps to Beautiful Sugar Beach

Kick off your shoes, open the door, and four steps later, you're on the beautiful white sands of Sugar Beach. Warm, gentle breezes caress your face, and the temperature feels wonderful, even in the summer months of June, July, and August. Walk a bit farther, and you're in the tranquil, blue Caribbean water.

Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Your relaxing vacation has begun at 115 Sugar Beach.

Located in the Sugar Beach Resort, Unit 115, a 3 bedroom beachfront condo has all the amenities of home as well as being only a 5 minute drive from the shops and restaurants of downtown Christiansted.

In addition to the oversized master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and the guest bedroom with a queen-sized bed, there's an third bedroom with 2 twin beds. All bedrooms have new Caribbean-themed bedding and plenty of pillows so you can get a good night's sleep after a hard day of playing on the beach.

New appliances and a granite counter top greet you in the fully-equipped kitchen with gourmet utensils and a blender to make any mixed drink you can imagine. (The island is known for its Cruzan rum.) Serve everything in Caribbean-themed dishware and glassware found in the cupboards.

Other creature comforts include plenty of beach towels in the closets, a wide screen HDTV with surround sound home theater, free WIFI and broadband internet connection. A large parking lot has plenty of parking near the condo, so you'll never have to look for a parking space.

The crystal-clear waters on Sugar Beach are wonderful for snorkeling and swimming due to the gently sloping coast breaking the waves and making the water calm. You'll find beach toys located in the beach box on the porch and plenty of beach towels in the closets. If swimming is too taxing, pull your beach chair to the water's edge and enjoy the sound of the waves gently caressing the shore underneath you.

If you're more of a swimming pool type, you can swim in the large, fresh-water pool next to the ruins of a 300-year old sugar mill. Grills next to the pool allow you to make it a pool party!

Laid-back and uncrowded, but with a plethora of activities, St. Croix is the best kept secret of the Caribbean. From world-class shopping and restaurants to eco-tours, horseback riding, and some of the best snorkeling and diving in the world, there is something fun for everyone.

We would love to welcome you to Unit 115 in the Sugar Beach Condo and Resort. We work very hard to keep the property up to ensure that what you see in the photos is what you get when you arrive.

Our stay was great. You can’t beat the location walking off the patio straight to the beach. My kids loved going out snorkeling right outside the condo. There is one restaurant we were able to walk to as well. Great location in relation to spots to hit on the island as well! If we find ourselves in St. Croix again - I’d definitely stay again!

This was our second stay in this condo, and we loved it again! The location is amazing, and the back door opens directly onto the beach. The beach is very quiet and private - we were there 10 days and saw fewer than 10 people total. Our friends came with us and got married right outside the condo on the beach.You can snorkel and see awesome fish, coral, etc. right from the beach. Chris (on-site manager) was once again helpful and polite. The owner is great and responds quickly to any message.We love St. Croix and will be back.

Family Get Away

We wanted to spend a relaxing week by the beach and enjoying the local food. This condo was perfect! Everything you could need for a family of four to make your own meals and enjoy the beach without schlepping everything over the sand. Perfect stay and we greatly appreciate it!

Family Trip - St Croix

The condo & furnishings were very nice. Sheets were high quality & comfortable. We planned our trip in May, rather than July, to try to avoid seagrass, but unfortunately there was lots of seagrass on the beach & in the water. The property staff would rake it & then load it into a huge roll off dumpster that was very close to this condo and the smell was very bad. One day we had no water in the condo & did not have any notice that it was being turned off and there was a contractor working with a jack hammer on the balcony right above us on the day that we had no water plus another day of jack hammering while we were trying to enjoy a meal on the patio with the gorgeous view. We just had to leave the condo that day. We decided to try out the pool one day and a new electronic lock had been installed on the gate to the pool, and we were not provided the code to get inside the pool area. There was no one in the office during the posted office hours, but some other guests were in the pool area and shared the code so we could get in the pool. Apparently, the A/C is programmed to reset to 86 degrees, so when we were trying to sleep, it would adjust up to 86 degrees. I called the On-site Property Manager about the water being turned off and the jack hammer noise on the balcony above us and he said that he had not been notified that the water for the condo we were staying in was going to be turned off. It was not the entire complex that had no water, just us.

On the beach

Our family of 5 spent a week in April. As advertised, this property is literally right on the beach. The water was calmer than other beaches on the island that we visited making it great for younger kids. The pool area is also nice. Condo was very clean! Plenty of towels and beach toys. 4 stars based on location because the neighborhood surrounding the property was run down compared to other properties that we drove by on other parts of the island. Would use caution if out after dark.

Beautiful beach condo close to everything!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach condo. The access to the private beach was amazing with a fun little snorkeling area right there! The condo was nice, kitchen well stocked and pool access great as well. We had some trouble getting the TV to work and it’s in need of a few more beach chairs. Great place would return!

Great Getaway the beaches are amazing

I went on vacation with my sister and sister-in-law. We all are picky when it comes to cleanliness. The condo was spotless. I’m not sure who the cleaning person is but they are 10 stars. I never saw a spec of sand(being right on the beach), no bugs anywhere. No webs. It was so clean. The location of the condo was great. The area was very quiet. We drove all around the island (keep left was difficult at first). We accidentally found a great market. It is called Q market. The best grocery store on the island. Getting there was hard because of those pot holes in the road. We had no electricity for about 3 hours on our last night. We lost our food because we couldn’t do anything. That was costly and a bummer. Overall the trip was great. The condo was amazing. Thanks for a great vacation. We are blessed. Sad to go but memories will be forever.

As Advertised

We were so pleased that everything was as advertised. Clear communications, on-site manager (Chris) was very helpful, a very comfortable place to stay. The location felt like we were in the middle of everything on the island. Brunch at RumRunners was our favorite meal. See Buck Island with Caribbean Sea Adventures. See if you can find the lighthouse. Be gentle with Ginger the neighborhood TomCat, See if you can see the moongooses that play at your steps. The beach and water were perfect. We'll be back.

Truly excellent trip and great property!

The condo was exactly as described. It was important to us to be right on the beach, and this certainly is. The communication with the owner before the trip was excellent, and an extremely helpful document was sent beforehand that provided great recommendations for snorkel tours, restaurants, etc. The on-site manager was immediately responsive when we had a question. The beach is peaceful with few people on it. We enjoyed being able to hear the sound of the waves constantly. The condo had everything included that we needed for a week. Excellent week - thanks so much!

Private beach makes for great stay

While the condo itself was pretty dated and some furniture not in great condition (ie: back patio table)- the location and helpfulness of the property manager made up for it. It is literally ON the beach - steps from your patio door. The beach is private, calm, and secluded. Even has its own area to snorkel where we saw tropical fish, octopus, and a giant manta-ray! The beach sand is a bit rocky and hurts to walk on, so I would recommend bringing water shoes or wearing flip flops down to the water. The condo had a wet/musty smell to it (almost like a sewer)- we ended up finding out this was due to the sargasm seaweed that washes up on shore and smells bad. The property manager was VERY responsive to our concerns with this, but unfortunately not a lot he could do. We had to leave windows open, fans running, and emptying the humidifier constantly to help. Location is close to downtown Christiansted and an easy drive to multiple other beaches. Nearby grocery and fast food was nice also. The pool was the perfect temperature and nice for the kids. Beach towels were provided, so it was nice to not have to pack those. Overall- would recommended this unit- but just know the inside does need some updates.

Everything we needed was there. Lots of kitchen dinnerware, cookware, appliances. Linens, towels including beach towels. Lots of beach toys for the kids and the proximity to the beach really is just a few steps. Beach chairs provided and the beach was cleaned of any seaweed each morning. We had a wonderful stay. We would definitely choose this condo again.

3rd stay

This was our 3rd stay in these condos. First in this one. It's a very nice unit. Walks out right on the beach!!! Was very clean. Had couple of minor issues, but the local contact for the unit was right on it. If you are looking for a unit to bring your family, this one will suite you. Just FYI for those who might rent, the master bed is quite hard.( I liked it!). Also If you're coming down, do what we do and pack an extra suitcase with frozen meat etc. Food at the grocery store is spendy.

Beautiful Beach

The unit is clean, nicely designed, and has wonderful views of the beach and ocean. The beds are very comfortable. Our friends were so pleased with the comfort of the beds that they wanted to order the same mattresses. The closets are huge, so plenty of storage space. The beach is directly outside the unit and there is no shortage of comfortable beach lounge chairs which are already set up on the beach and ready for use. If you are concerned about getting too much sun, there are several beautiful coconut palm trees just outside the unit that provide ample shade. There were lots of beach towels, floats and some snorkel gear which we made frequent use of. The communication with Chris, the property manager, was flawless. He answered many questions and was always responsive in a timely way. We did have some difficulty operating the dish washer (resolved) as others have noted and there were some cosmetic issues, but nothing that would deter another visit. There are two grocery stores a short drive away and a nice restaurant immediately next to the complex. In summary, we loved our time here, only wish it was longer.

Great location

The location on Sugar Beach is wonderful. We loved staying right on the beach which was well maintained and raked daily. Although the condo itself could use a few updates and repairs, it was more than adequate for us. The property manager, Christoph, was excellent. He responded quickly to our questions and concerns.
