Overall we enjoyed our stay at Mercure City West as we had a mountain view which was nice but we were also overlooking roads - a motorway and another road leading out of town. The staff on Reception were a bit hit and miss - when we checked in the receptionist did not offer us a chance to 'spin wheel' to win something as she had with the people in front of us. Also we did not get our passes allowing free travel on buses due to an error with e mail address (?!) Housekeeping also bit mean allocated with replacing tea bag but were good with keeping toilet rolls well stocked which is more important.

The receptionist was amazing! She was super kind to my child, warm and friendly. Her English was impeccable which made everything seamless. The room was beautifully presented and the views from this corner room were fabulous. There was a free bus pass with the hotel, a bus stop literally outside with frequent timings and took ten minutes into town. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff are courteous and professional and the hotel is clean and light with spacious rooms.

East reach from and to Chur station, you take no 6 bus, from chur station abs it will take you right outside the hotel, 3 Swiss francs for the bus pp . The hotel is adjacent to a small shopping centre and supermarket which is extremely convenient.

The hotel offers free public transport. The bus stop is right outside and takes you directly into the city and to the train station. The maintenance crew could benefit from better technical support!

This hotel is a little bit out of the way from Chur centre but the free transport card given to us by the staff brought everything within easy distance.

Great hotel exactly as described. Taxi to central station €15 convenient. Alternatively train to Chur West, free if using an interrail ticket. Bus service to town looked convenient & free with hotel coupon. You are staying in a hotel attached to a shopping centre with very limited catering facilities at the weekend. There is a super coop & the hotel has a microwave available which is great with ready meals.

Newish Mercure hotel. Our room was on the 9th floor with big windows on both sides with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. The hotel is within walking distance of the cable car to the top of the mountain. Breakfast options are limited. The staff were nice.

We stayed in a mountain view room at the corner of the building, so we have two sides of the walls are big picture windows with fantastic view of Alps. The room is spacious with a kitchen and fridge. Very big and nice bathroom. Will stay again.
