The service and food was very good.
Not so good was the room which was very small and cramped.A small basin and a very poor shower. No shower curtain and no shaver point.
This was a great place to stay a few nights. Pop to the pub to eat and have drinks which is great - very pleasant. Situated in beautiful countryside.

Disappointing stay!
Not a good stay. Shower room desperate for upgrade, shower was just a single flow of water, either too hot, too cold but then just stopped mid shower. They were informed prior to our visit that my wife is coeliac and requires gluten free food. Very poor choice at evening meal but what we had was good. No offer of fruit or cereals at breakfast, just straight to cooked food. Absolutely no bread for my wife so she just had eggs, bacon and was still hungry when we left. All that said, the food was very good and served hot which sometimes makes a change. Sadly we wouldn’t stay here again.
Last minute one night stay. Very welcoming hosts. Super cosy cottage even in the snow! Love the quirky features. Pub wonderful… great food at brilliant prices. Great value for money. A surprising find… would love another stay in the summer this time and would recommend.
Always have a pleasant stay . Food at inn lovely , staff friendly , nice room . Would recommend . Due to the change of weather twin room a little cold as the radiator next to one of the beds didn't really throw out the heat. On the plus side the red hot water from the bath was a welcome bonus .
A lovely stay at the Thames Head Inn. Food excellent and staff very helpful. Our room was cosy and comfortable. Very convenient for Cirencester and surrounding areas.
I stayed in one of the four rooms at the back of the pub. Nice rural location with plenty of parking. Room was clean and comfortable, but the best aspect of the stay was the friendly staff and excellent food. Portions good, and the pub has a great atmosphere. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and good quality. Would definitely stay again
This was our 3rd stay at the Thames Head, and as usual, we had an excellent stay. The staff are really friendly and chatty, the food is wonderful, with a large choice of dishes. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, good nights sleep. Would highly recommend a stay at The Thames Head anytime. Thank you.
The room looked lovely to walk into. We were only staying for 2 nights but the first morning our room was re stocked and the bed made as it was when we arrived.
