We booked this place as a quick weekend stay to spend some time with our daughter from out of state. We traveled with our dog and picked this place because it was listed as a fenced yard and pet friendly. There is NOTHING pet friendly about this home. The yard is not fenced. I messaged the owner about the inaccurate listing and he called me right away to apologize. He also didn’t hesitate to solicit us with his “better” rentals in hocking hills. There is absolutely no where for pets to relieve themselves. The pictures and description lead you to believe this is a luxury listing. It is not. There is paintable caulking everywhere and it’s very poorly done. The home was clean-ish. It had clean floors, furniture and linens, however there was toothpaste on the wall in front the bathroom sinks and the neglected hair all over the shower liner etc. the little things were neglected. You cannot enjoy the backyard as the motion light goes off every 3-4 minutes at night. It’s very inconvenient. Overall I would not recommend this place for a family. It’s definitely more of a bachelor pad. The location was amazing and that’s about all the nice I can say about it. The description is wildly inaccurate.

Originally booked here due to looking upscale from pictures, while also being pet friendly and having a fenced in yard (which is not accurate) but was able to find a pet sitter. Communication was great until things started going wrong. Upon our arrival and getting settled in, we found carpenter/flying ants coming through the corner of the baseboard in the master and crawling on our belongings. Sending pictures to the host and taking video (couldn’t send through VRBO, and after telling host, they never asked for the videos) all host had to say was “thanks for the heads up. Keep doors and windows closed to avoid more”. There was no regularity to the temperature between upstairs and downstairs. You could only have downstairs being comfortable and upstairs feeling like a sauna, or downstairs being 54 degrees and it being like an 80 degree humid day - making it difficult to sleep. In addition I had to use my personal hotspot as the tv could not connect to the internet. When bringing these to the host the following morning seeing if there were any solutions, it was hours before we received a response, to which the temperature was completely ignored, and it was about 23-24 hours after the ant issue that they finally asked to have someone come over and spray for them. My husband and I were celebrating his birthday and 1 year remission from a major health scare and this location was a disappointment. We would not recommend staying here.

We had an excellent stay in this house! There were no issues and we did prepare some of our own meals. The kitchen was well stocked, as were all the other rooms. Us guys loved the shuffleboard!

The host was responsive and shared everything we needed in advance. The location was perfect. We attended the Cleveland Aquarium, a football game at the Browns Stadium, and went to the Rock & Roll Hall of fame. There were notes about must see places and restaurants provided. Our three teenagers/young adult boys enjoyed playing shuffle board, darts and the Pac Man arcade game.

This is a very nice home and back yard it was perfect for my husband and i during our stay across the street is a friendly bar and across the bridge is a cute little Italian Restaurantthere is street parking right infront of the home the home was built in 1880 and it is in remarble state of condition the owner takes pride in this home and my husband loved the arcade game lol

We had an overall great stay at this property! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the West Side Market, local bars, and plenty of great restaurants. It was the perfect spot for exploring the area on foot.There was a temporary issue with a sewage smell due to the host jetting the pipes, but Brian was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make it right, even buying us dinner to make up for the inconvenience. His quick response and hospitality really stood out.We’d definitely recommend this property for its unbeatable location and attentive host!

Great place in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this 5 star rental. Perfect location for anything in Ohio City or Cleveland. Quiet neighborhood and a well furnished house and backyard. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone coming to the area.

Very cute place…

The place was very clean and quant. The only issue we had was how hot it got upstairs. We tried to turn it down but that didn’t work. We slept with windows open still couldn’t sleep. Besides that we really enjoyed our stay. Just minutes from downtown.

Perfect location!
