Appartement en rez de chaussée avec une cour privative et un petit jardin fleuri donnant sur la rivière Lauch et la Petite Venise.
DESCRIPTION DE L'APPARTEMENT :
de l'entrée, donnent à droite la chambre à coucher (lit queen-size 160 cm) et la salle de bain (baignoire, WC, machine à laver le linge). Vers la gauche, un premier salon avec TV et vue vitrée sur la cour, puis, après trois marches, un second salon avec un fauteuil convertible en un très bon lit 1 place (80 cm), bibliothèque et branchement internet (câble ou Wifi) et enfin, dans la continuité, une cuisine séparée bien aménagée (réfrigérateur/congélateur, micro-onde, lave-vaisselle, machine à café moulu à filtre).
Accès direct à la cour équipée d'un salon de jardin, par l'entrée ou par la cuisine.
L'appartement est prévu pour 2 à 3 personnes (Un lit double et un lit d'appoint 1 personne) . Il n'est pas adapté pour des personnes à mobilité réduite.
Service ménage proposé en fin de séjour pour 40 euros (à payer sur place lors du séjour).
Tous commerces, marché couvert, traiteurs, restaurants à proximité.
Draps, taies d'oreillers, serviettes de toilette, torchons de cuisine, aspirateur, produits de nettoyage et de lavage (lave-vaisselle+lave-linge) sont fournis ainsi qu'une petite "épicerie" de dépannage.

Great location. The suite has plenty of space and amenities. Easy walking around the old town section. Many bistros and bakeries nearby. The town had put a lot of effort into spring decorations when we were there which was fun. Easy to get turned around, so pick out a few landmarks to orient yourself by (the statue outside the front door, or the covered market for example).

A 5-star property and a 5-star stay. The hosts are delightful and licked us up from the station. The apartment is beautiful with a lovely terrace overlooking the river. The location is perfect, steps from the town centre, shops, sights and museums. It is a good size and very well equipped. The hosts saved us on our final day when all trains were cancelled because of an unfortunate incident on the line and took us to the airport. It was much more than we could ask for (a taxi would have been enough)! In conclusion, the perfect stay and the perfect hosts.

This is a beautiful rental in the heart of La Petite Venise. It's an easy walk to shops and restaurants. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and well furnished. Possibly my favorite part is the view of the canal, and people watching. We look forward to returning!

Brigitte and Christian were fantastic hosts; very warm and welcoming! They met us at the train station and allowed us to check-in early. They shared information they thought we would be interested in (we were) throughout our stay and were responsive to any inquiries we had. The apartment is well located on a canal and is very cozy, charming and clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. They even provided some welcome treats for us.

Absolutely amazing stay at La Maison Bleue. The location was spot on. Right in the heart of everything. The property itself had everything you could need. The hosts Bridgitte & Christian are quite possibly the best hosts weve ever encountered. They even met us at the train station after midnight due to delays with our flight. Then picked us up to take us back to the train station early morning. All in all 1 of our best trips everything considered. Its understandable this place having perfect reviews. Thanks very much for a memorable few days.

Wonderful location and hosts

We stayed 4 nights and we can highly recommend this apartment. The location is perfect to explore the old town. Just a 10 minute walk from the train station but Brigitte and Christian so kindly picked us up from the train station on arrival and took us back on departure. We felt so comfortable staying there. Everything was sparkling clean on arrival. We particularly enjoyed the garden area in the quiet of the mornings and then later in the day.

Colmar visit

We came to Colmar after a vacation in Paris. Bridgette and Christian met us at the train and drove us to our lovely rental. It was adorable. Location was perfect to explore this wonderful town. Everything was as listed. The home is unique with all the furnishings that are perfect for this style of house. We so enjoyed this town and home and would love to return someday. Thank you for everything.

Amazing!!!

I’ve stayed at quite a few places and this one is probably my most favorite of all. The pictures show the beauty of of the house and area but can’t capture how magical it is. What took our experience over the top was how helpful and kind Brigitte and Christian were. This place is truly a gem and we hope to return one day!

Charming flat

We were very impressed with the flat. It could not have been more perfect. The location excellent, right in the old part of town. The kitchen was well equipped and we were greeted with a few treats. Brigitte and Christian were very nice as well. I would recommend this location.

Colmar perfection.

Beautiful apartment right on the canal in Colmar. Brigitte and Christian are perfect hosts. Picked up and dropped us back to the train station was a plus. Colmar and the surroundings of the apartment are superb, Christmas markets at the door as are restaurants and within walking distance to sights. A very happy stay was had. Well recommended.

A magical stay!

Maison Bleue feels like a home away from home. Everything is exactly as you see in the listing, very clean very comfortable, very charming! The location is superb and how nice it was to be on the ground floor with no stairs! I especially enjoyed opening up the kitchen window to watch the small boats, ducks and beautiful swan go by. Christian and Brigitte are most gracious hosts, offering to pick you up and deliver you back to the train station. And the gift basket of goodies they provided was such a nice surprise! We treasure our memories of Christian, Brigitte and Maison Bleue!

The property was perfect for our two week stay in Colmar. We used it for our base to visit the Alsace region with a car and took the train also. Everything we needed was provided for in the apartment and more. Brigitte and Christian were very kind and helpful. We loved meeting and talking with them.

Beautiful old house in a perfect location.

Brigitte and Christian were ideal hosts even providing transport from the train station. The gite is located ideally in Little Venice backing up on the River Lauch and literally around the corner from the bridge. The centre city is within easy walking distance. There are many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Be aware that as a gite not all necessary supplies are available and the tub has very high sides. However, the accommodations are very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

A delightful stay in a fairytale village!

Brigitte and Christian welcomed us to their lovely VRBO by picking us up at the train! Their apartment is in the best location in Old Colmar, with charming , comfortable furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and it is tight on the canal, with a picturesque bridge very nearby. Old Colmar is an intriguing, beautiful ‘trip to the past’, with medieval architecture, winding streets with shops, museums and restaurants, and the landing for a boat ride on the canal is around the corner. This stay was truly amazing, I highly recommend you reserve here.

Brigitte and Christian are exceptionally kind and attentive hosts, and they made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip to France. They have great pride in this home, which is very well equipped and updated, but still has elements that let you know you are staying in a house built long ago. We loved the location and the neighborhood! It was a very convenient walk to all the sights of Colmar and just a kilometer's walk to the train station for side trips. There are plenty of restaurants just steps away, but we enjoyed (and now miss) the short walk to the nearby farmer's market to pick up options for breakfast and sometimes for lunch. We also enjoyed watching the ducks outside the kitchen window and patio. Had the weather allowed, we would have spent a lot of time sitting outside and enjoying the amazing seclusion of this spot in what is a very busy area of the town. Thank you Brigitte and Christian.
