The bathroom was not cleaned properly I noticed that dirt towels were hanging and the folded towels were also used and dirty. A bit late after you take a shower! Disgusting Will never stay again

Excellent family stay in Cologne

The location was surprisingly good for being on the "wrong side of the river" - it's a short walk to the Koln-Messe Deutz rail station and from there just one stop on the S-Bahn or two stops on the U-Bahn to the city center. The room was spacious and accommodated my family of four very well. Washer-dryer and kitchenette in the room were very useful. We paid for breakfast one day and the spread was fresh and expansive. The only negative for me, and this may be just my taste, was that the pillows and bed were not especially comfortable. Both my wife and I had difficulties falling and staying asleep. So take from that what you will, but overall I have no problem recommending the hotel and will seek out other Adina properties if they are like this.

A nice, clean, new property, however we had no hot water on our second morning and it wasn’t rectified until after we were required to check out, so cold showers during a German winter was not pleasant. Front desk staff were polite and apologetic, but with the price paid for this room, a discount or remedy should have been offered on the spot for such a significant service failure.

Poor service, uncooperative staff

I was thoroughly disappointed with the service during my recent stay in the Apartment Hotel Cologne. Prior to my arrival, I specifically requested a parking space, which was acknowledged by the hotel. However, upon arriving late in the evening, I was informed by the reception that due to some local events, the hotel parking was fully booked. The staff at reception insisted they were under no obligation to inform me of this in advance and simply suggested I search for street parking or check a nearby sports center. The issues didn’t stop there. The next morning, the breakfast was served for an hour shorter than the hotel’s stated timing, something we were not informed about. By the time we and some other guests arrived, the staff had already started clearing dishes and had even switched off the coffee machine. Despite having prepaid for breakfast, no explanation was given, nor was any effort made to remedy the situation. Overall the staff both in the kitchen and at reception were rude and uncooperative in this situation. Cologne is a lovely city and we enjoyed our time there, but the hotel’s service fell far below expectations.
