First time in Köln

The hotel was amazing from the start felt so welcome and comfortable when speaking to the staff, the hotel room was beautiful spacious and so clean, the hotel explain if you put on the door you do not want your room clean the hotel give you a coupon for a free drink at the bar which I think is lovely. They have a mini shop in the hotel from chargers to plugs to sweets chocolates and drinks, the have room service and they are very quick & efficient.

Really decent hotel, had absolutely no issues here and it's right next to the chocolate museum. Little walk to the cathedral/main restaurant area. If you have the window open you can hear road traffic, but very soundproofed with the windows closed and generally comfortable.

had a disappointing experience at NH Köln. The toilet was broken, and the bathroom door didn’t close properly, which was very inconvenient. The room was poorly equipped – no toothbrush, no robe for the toilet, and other basic amenities were missing. Additionally, the room card didn’t work well and kept causing issues. Overall, not the standard I expected from this hotel. Definitely not worth the price.

The hotel was very busy but the rooms were superbly quiet and comfortable. The only slight issue was that even with the aircon turned to minimum the room was still quite warm. But excellent value and perfect for what we needed. A good option was that in exchange for not having our room cleaned, we got two free drinks vouchers which we exchanged in the bar the next day. Brilliant!
