Great location!! Don’t forget to ask for the fans!

Loved the location really close to the main action in Köln. They were clearly starting to open after Covid closure. People at reception were excellent but I saw about 4-5 different staff memebers and looks like they do not talk to each other. Some issues with the room like no air conditioning and with the warm weather it is just unbearable. Also the fridge inside the room was not working and could never be repaired after 2 nights (they forgot). Finally, while we were leaving, I mentioned the hot rooms and a staff member mentioned fans!!! No one offered the fans!

Staff were very friendly and helpful, and this modern hotel was well kept and in good condition. The only downside really was there was no air conditioning in the room which made it difficult to sleep during the hot summer nights of my visit.

I am impressed about the cleanliness of the hotel. I did not try the breakfast, but eating outside was not expensive. I would recommend to eat outside since there are many restaurants or café nearby, so you can feel the local. The location of hotel is perfect in which you can walk to many landmarks without sweating (it's probably too cold as well so I didn't sweat).Anyway, I would definitely recommend this place due to its price, location and cleanliness!

Good location near the train station and Cathedral

I had a pleasant enough stay in a single room at the Boutique 009 Hotel. The hotel is conveniently situated 5 minutes walk from Cologne main train station in a neighbourhood that felt safe late at night. It is also a short walking distance to the Cathedral and main shopping area. My room was a very clean but very basic single room with tired decor with no views to speak of. The weather was cold as I stayed in January but the room was sufficiently heated. I didn't get a great nights sleep due to the plastic undersheets which caused my sheets to become untucked and ravel up. The bathroom was clean and sufficient. Overall, for the star rating, I found this hotel value for money and would consider staying again but in a better room. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, to which I could not fault them. Thank you!

Staff was not very friendly. Hotel is just okay with nothing special to make you comfortable. The lift didn’t work and there was nobody willing to help with our luggage. As a result my back was hurt. Unimpressed with this one! We did ask for help but was told, sorry, there’s nobody here to help you. We will not return.

Great Location, Good Value, Poor Pillows

Check in took forever. It wasn’t even that we had people in front of us. The pillows were the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. It was as if they were washed and the filling clumped up in large balls. We had 3 rooms in our group all were the same. The location was great and the rooms were clean. Good value for money but give yourself some time and take your own pillow.
