Beautiful Location and Home!

We were immediately impressed by the wonderful home and convenient location. We alternated between visiting the Broadmoor, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. This was a convenient spot for all of those areas. Our friends and family enjoyed the comfortable furniture and many options for relaxation.

Great location

This is a very comfortable older home with everything we needed for 3 older couples. The kitchen is very well equipped and we used the outdoor grill. Very large living space and beautiful outdoor deck. The neighborhood is lovely, just minutes from the Broadmoor Hotel. The only drawback is that 3 of the 4 bedrooms are downstairs and the house appears as a ranch on the photos. Also due to the age of the house, the electrical system is older and the downstairs bathrooms are not equipped for using any hairdryers or curling irons. Overall, very clean, very comfortable home and the hosts, Susan and Larry were so nice! You will enjoy your stay here!

Perfect location

It was as described. No suprises. Everything worked. Comfortable and close to our destination, which was a conference at the Broadmoor. 5 min walk to conference center and 12 min drive to multiple trailheads.

Large enough to host visiting family for pizza and beer on the beautiful back balcony. Beds amd linens were clean and comfortable. On site management is great. Will stay here again.

Classic Broadmoor area home!

We were in town from three different states to celebrate our grandson‘s first birthday. The home was big enough and well appointed to satisfy our large family with a variety of ages and tastes. Larry and Susan or phenomenal hosts and were incredibly responsive to our every need. The family that owns this property has thought of everything. We were very delighted with our stay.

Spotless Stay in an Incredible Spot

Our stay for a wedding at the Broadmoor was absolutely incredible. The place was spotless!! We had on call service that was top notch. We had the best stay we could have imagined. The beds were AMAZING! Sheets were super soft, and the towels were beautiful. Also, you’re steps from the Broadmoor, and hiking, and a million other wonderful things. 10/10 recommend. Don’t miss this rental!

Great In-state Vacation

We had a great time at 1550 Mesa! The location was perfect -- within 15 minutes to all of the sites we wanted to visit (the Cheyenne Mtn Zoo, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, the Broadmoor, UCCS, Old CO City, etc.). We were also close to many great eateries. The house was truly perfect -- my parents took the king bed downstairs, my 3 teenaged boys each stayed in their own beds downstairs, and my husband and I had the king bed on the main floor -- plenty of room for all of us to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The house is unique, with doors everywhere, cool nooks and crannies, and lovely stained glass windows. We ate breakfast on the deck every morning -- it was so nice and peaceful. We would totally stay there again.

This home was very cozy with all of the comforts from home, it felt more like being at a family member's place with all of the little extra's. The location could not have been better and we absolutely loved seeing all of the neighborhood deer each day.

We enjoyed our stay and would like to make a couple of suggestions: in your listing you might want to mention that there are stairs to downstairs bedrooms; downstairs bathroom needs at least two more towel racks and also something to serve as a vanity for incidentals.

Great stay!

1550 was a perfect fit for us. Three couples attending a wedding at Broadmoor...so close...and enjoying the beautiful area. We did all of it, eventually doing Garden of the Gods, the Air Force Academy, Seven Fall..a very fun and pleasant surprise. Home is lovely...could use more light in the living room bu otherwise perfect.
