When the surrounding scrub-oak are in full growth, they proved a natural, private courtyard as well as secret garden passageways along the stone paths.
SOME THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE YOU BOOK:
*once you arrive, take your time on the stairs (2 sets) as it may take a while to acclimate to the higher Colorado Springs altitude.

*Black Bear Chateau is located on the "locked off" lower level of a 5500 sq ft home with the upper 2 levels of the home being occupied by your host family. BLACK BEAR CHATEAU HAS ITS OWN PRIVATE ENTRANCE AND YOU ARE COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE HOST FAMILY
