Wonderful Family Gathering
We had 9 adults gather for a family member birthday. Astrid Cabin was a wonderful location as we gathered from Nevada, Idaho and Washington. The proximity to Glacier National Park was outstanding and being close to Columbia Falls was convenient with a great grocery store in town. The huckleberry bushes on the property were an added bonus that we made use of. The number of beds were adequate, but the bunks were really designed for kids and the adults sleeping in those beds did not get a good night’s rest. All other amenities were great. There were issues during our visit with the dryer not working, but air drying worked fine. We had a great time and would return.

Coming Back
Everything was as smooth as it could be under the circumstances. Tom was very easy to deal with when I had to. Glad we were able to make the trip. Was not able to see all that is at Glacier to see so we have plans to return as soon as we can.

So very happy
We used this property as our headquarters for our 3 generation vacation to Glacier. Grandpa enjoyed coffee on the deck, our teenage son enjoyed the creek, and I loved having so much space. Beautiful space! And what a view!! The only suggestion I would have is to add a few kitchen utensils. Flipping pancakes and sunny-side-up eggs was a challenge with what was there, but made for some fun memories anyway!

Perfect accomodations in a great location.
Great stay at Astrid cabin. The location is remote enough to have deer walking through the property, but still close enough to where the drive to Columbia Falls is quite short. We did not lack any amenities in the kitchen and there was a gas grill on the deck ready to use. The heating was adequate without using the wood fired stove. The creek down the hill was a real joy and you could hike down and enjoy it close up, or just open the back door to the cabin and listen to the water. If we ever go back, we definitely stay there again.

The cabin is beautiful and the trail leading to creek is awesome.
Had a great time. Property is surrounded by huckleberry bushes all around. Yum! We utilized the fire pit at night, it was such a great experience. The kitchen was stocked with all kinds of cookware.
