A week in September

A perfect location to enjoy Concarneau with its harbour and atmosphere. The spacious apartment with its pretty balcony is ideal and Justine makes the stay very easy to organise. The only thing to warn about is the parking which takes some organising. For most of summer, including mid September, you have to keep paying every 4 hrs 30mins. Overnight is free. Free daytime is a long walk away near the station. There is no free parking on Sundays either. Even the locals get confused and the wardens are very stringent, working in pairs!

Concarneau a hidden gem

We spent a week in a lovely apartment overlooking the bay and port of Concarneau. We've been to the general area before, staying at the interesting village of Pont Aven but chose Concarneau for its bigger size. It's a fine town with very good restaurants, the mandatory Les Halles and markets Monday & Friday. The apartment we booked was excellent - well equipped with a very helpful and efficient contact in Justine. Highly recommend the experience

Appartement idéalement situé au centre de Concarneau. Linge de bain et de maison, ustensiles de cuisine, guides...à profusion. TrÚs bonne literie. Un store occultant serait le bienvenu dans la chambre. A noter que l'escalier pour parvenir au 1er étage est plutÎt raide. Un trÚs grand merci à Justine qui gÚre la location pour son efficacité et sa bienveillance.

tolle Lage aber kleines Bett

Leider mussten wir krankheitsbedingt am 3. Tag wieder abreisen und hatten daher nur einen sehr kurzen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist gerĂ€umig und hat eine außergewöhnlich schöne Lage mit wunderbarem Blick ĂŒber das Wasser. FußlĂ€ufig ist alles sehr gut erreichbar. Die KĂŒche ist super ausgestattet und es gibt viel Platz mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Wie bereits in den anderen Bewertungen erwĂ€hnt gibt es vor der Unterkunft nur kostenpflichtige ParkplĂ€tze. Justine hĂ€lt jedoch einen Stadtplan bereit, der einem die entsprechenden Parkzonen erklĂ€rt. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer, eins mit zwei Einzelbetten fĂŒr die Kinder. Und ein Doppelbett, dass wirklich recht kurz und dazu eben nicht sonderlich breit ist. Ca 140x190 cm. Ich bin 175 cm und fand es gerade noch ok. Mein Mann ist 196 cm. FĂŒr ihn war es eindeutig zu klein und definitiv nicht komfortabel. FĂŒr kleine Personen also eine tolle Unterkunft, aber fĂŒr grĂ¶ĂŸere Menschen nicht zu empfehlen. Justine schrieb uns aber, dass sie im Winter ein grĂ¶ĂŸeres Bett organisieren wolle.

Etwas in die Jahre gekommen und ohne Parkplatz

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral in Concarneau gelegen mit Blick auf die Hafeneinfahrt. Leider gab es obwohl im Inserat genannt keinen eigenen Parkplatz sondern nur öffentliche gebĂŒhrenpflichtige ParkplĂ€tze oder gebĂŒhrenfreie in ca. 1,5 km Entfernung. Das Mobiliar war schon in die Jahre gekommen und das Doppelbett nur 140 cm breit und 190 cm lang. Die Dekoration mit Bildern usw. war sehr gelungen.

Top ausgestattet - Top Lage

Wir waren zehn Tage in dem wunderbar eingerichteten Apartment, das zudem auch von der Lage fĂŒr uns optimal war. Der Ort Concarneau ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr viele AusflĂŒge innerhalb der Bretagne, das Apartment liegt direkt gegenĂŒber des Marinariums. D.h. man hat innerhalb des Orts kurze Wege, zugleich vom Balkon aber einen Ausblick aufs Meer. Im liebevoll eingerichteten Apartement ist wirklich alles da was man benötigt, es gibt ĂŒberall genĂŒgend Ablagen und Unterstellmöglichkeiten, sogar die Messer sind scharf :) Man muss lediglich wissen, dass die ParkplĂ€tze vor dem Haus kostenpflichtig sind - es gibt aber kostenfreie PlĂ€tze in fußlĂ€ufiger Entfernung. Und bei offenem Fenster schlafen ist zumindest bei gerĂ€uschempfindlichen Menschen schwierig, nicht nur die Möwen, auch der Verkehr sorgen fĂŒr eine bestĂ€ndige GerĂ€uschkulisse... FĂŒr uns jedenfalls war es perfekt :)

Super!

L‘accueil est chaleureus est trĂšs simple. „La porte est ouverte“ est une phrase qu‘on trouve rarement dans des rĂ©gions fortement touristiques. L‘appartement est trĂšs bien Ă©quippĂ© et super propre! SituĂ© au centre de Concarneau - idĂ©al pour faire des promenades le longue de la cĂŽte mais aussi pour dĂ©couvrir la rĂ©gion. Et nous en avons pas finit! On reviendra avec plaisir - c‘est un endroit parfait pour passer des vacances relaxes ou actives! Et il faut ajouter des louanges de Justine: hĂŽtesse parfaite! Merci Justine pour tout!

Close to perfect

Die Unterkunft liegt super und ist trotz ihres Alters toll und funktional ausgestattet. Man kann alles in Concarneau zu Fuß erreichen. Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Justine im Vorfeld war freundlich und effektiv - Check-in /Check-out kontaktlos möglich. 2 Dinge, die wir nicht optimal fanden - das Bett ist total winzig - .2 normal gewachsene Erwachsene können da nicht wirklich schlafen - d.h. Ausweichen auf eines der beiden Kinderbetten. Es gibt auch keinen direkt der Unterkunft zugeordneten Parkplatz, wie man lt. Inserat vielleicht denken könnte. Es gibt ausreichend öffentliche ParkplĂ€tze in der NĂ€he, die aber schon mal 200 Meter weg liegen können.
