We booked our room for two for king bed and booked thru Expedia. I have had good experience with Expedia bookings and Wyndham and Baymont have a good name So we booked with Expedia.
We even checked in online prior to arriving at the property and we even gave our arrival time and we came at 9.30 pm.
The lobby was closed for safety reasons and we understand that.
But the check in lady was most incompetent and seem as though she was struggling with the booking. She made all three of us wait outside the lobby in a tiny foyer.when we asked her what the problem was after she fidgeted around on the computer, she said she is making sure the rooms are not dirty😩 so I said you know we have reserved rooms paid for and you don’t know if the rooms are clean? She made us wait for 35-40 minutes and then disappeared. Apparently to check the rooms. Arrived 10 mins later and said that we have two queen beds bedroom with no extra charge.
So went to the room. Room was not that fresh but we were tired and took her word for it that the room was clean. Well one bed was ok the other one looked as though some one had not bothered to put fresh sheets. It was a bit dirty on top yellow piece for the door of the bed. Balcony was dirty. The balcony was dirty.
The bathroom was with toilet cistern cover cracked and patched up. 😡😡😡 WIFI DID NOT WORK
WE COMPLAINED BUT THEY JUST SAID SORRY.
We never saw any cleaning staff.
Will never book there again. Horrible experience
