A picnic table, lawn chairs and a bonfire ring are nearby, and the yard abuts an excellent fishing pond and the town-loop trail system which connects to the rest of the Whiterock trail system. The nearby farm yard is used for sheep, goats and cows on occasion and the field behind the cottage is home to the bison herd.

The decor reflects the cottage's history, first as the family chicken coop, then hired hand's house and Elizabeth's garden shed. The renovated cottage offers all amenities, including A/C, a TV and VCR and games. The bedroom has a Queen bed and the living/sitting room has twin bunk beds.

Nice cottage and lots of options for outdoor activities.
The cottage was nice. We did have a couple issues but Denise quickly resolved them for us. We enjoyed biking and hiking in the area.
