The Space:
Echidna Ridge by the Tiny Away sits in the town of Coonabarabran and an hour from Gunnedah, offers an otherworldly stargazing experience. Surrounded by trees with stunning sunset views, this private retreat boasts some of the best stars in Australia, providing a perfect setting for relaxation and celestial wonder.
What's more, we are close to Siding Spring and Milroy Observatories, you can also explore Warrumbungle National Park's trails and Lake Keepit's waters.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny home and surrounding areas. If you enter the house yard, toot the horn and the host will come out to attend.

Echidna Ridge by Tiny Away is by the town of Coonabarabran and about an hourâs drive from Gunnedah. It is your gateway to Australiaâs first Dark Sky Park. With clean air, high altitudes, low humidity, and minimal light pollution, it offers a memorable stargazing experience.
Coonabarabran, affectionately known as 'Coona', boasts plenty of country swagger and friendly locals. This private retreat is perfect for those seeking a straightforward, genuine connection with the stars and the character-rich charm of rural Australia.
Lake Keepit offers a peaceful family escape with dog-friendly bush camping. Explore 34 kilometers of calm waterways that are perfect for boating and fishing.
Siding Spring Observatory is Australiaâs leading optical astronomy center. It houses the nationâs largest telescopes, including the 3.9-meter Anglo-Australian Telescope and the 2.3-meter Advanced Technology Telescope.
Nearby, Warrumbungle National Park is one of Australiaâs hidden treasures. Wander through rugged bushland and striking rock formations by day, then marvel at the stars in the countryâs only Dark Sky Park at night.

- Keep in mind that outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
