A lot of people shared that it was noisy here. We did not have that experience but I can see it being that way depending who is staying there. It was really nice to be able to grab a snack or drink anytime day or night. The door in our bathroom was rubbing against the door jam so it was hard to close. Sat outside on porch for breakfast and deer were close by to watch! Nice pavilion to sit in on the property. Very cute place. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely inn with welcoming and friendly staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. Having a continental breakfast included is a bonus - there was a good selection of breakfast items. Snacks and beverages are available at any time. The location is great for a visit to historic Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame.

A nice place to stay

Visiting The Baseball Hall of Fame (surprise!). This hotel is in a historic building, although the renovations are so extensive you really can't tell. The building itself is kind of unassuming, so for me the historic factor isn't really a draw. The location is off the main drag of Cooperstown, but still an easy walk to everything. Plenty of parking available. Options with the included breakfast are very minimal but adequate, room was clean and comfortable and spacious––appreciated the hangers as a place to dry out clothes after swimming at the nearby lake. Recommended!

Nice little hotel near downtown Cooperstown

Great little spot I presume in a former train station. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Everything seemed to be newly renovated. Continental breakfast did not have a lot of variety but was still decent. I would recommend this hotel.

Great room and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the second night the adjoining room was occupied by a loud, drunk couple and it sounded like they were in my room. I’ve experienced this before, always in rooms that connect to the next one. It’s like hotels can’t insulate the doors so it sounds like the doors are wide open. Bed super comfy and I liked that the windows opened.

It was clean. However it was too cold. I asked a staff to give me air conditioner's remote control. However he said to me some excuse and didn't give me it. I wore my down jacket at that night. Next day, a room service staff came to my room to clean up. I asked her if we can use remote control or not. She got it and gave me it. I could not understand why I could not get it the first night. This hotel was very clean, comfortable, good except it.

The staff was welcoming. The breakfast items and snacks were much appreciated. No cost. Located in a quiet area of town and within walking distance to the Hall of Fame. Also, great deli only a block away. Would definitely stay there again.

The inn is clean and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. The breakfast area was well-stocked with cereal, yogurt, and snacks, which was very handy. The location is excellent, about a ten-minute walk from the Hall of Fame, so there’s no hassles with shuttles or expensive parking. But this hotel was also noisy, mostly because of the wooden stairs—there are no elevators—and the apparent lack of soundproofing between floors. My first night there was quiet; the second was noisy because people in the room above seemed to be constantly walking. Also, staff was pretty much nonexistent. There was also a sign saying that there would be a surcharge for paying by credit card AND that staff kept no cash on-site. So, did that mean that you had to pay with exact change or pay the surcharge?

A nice surprise from our usual hotel rooms. Nice, quiet, and staff were friendly. Cooperstown is a beautiful town and home of the baseball hall of fame which was our primary reason for being there. Highly recommend the Railroad Inn
