Cooperstown is a rural, small, upper-midwest town. There's bars, a handful of restaurants, a Dollar General and grocery store - all within walking distance. Some of the nation's best hunting is close by as is the Luverne Wind Farm and the Cooperstown Medical Center and Griggs County Care Center.
There is no public transportation available in Cooperstown, but there are some private transportation options. While it is possible to stay here without a car as essential services are within reasonable walking distance, a car is close to essential with staying in Cooperstown.
This apt rental was perfect for our needs. We have family in Finley and being able to stay here gave us more time to visit than if we had stayed in Fargo.
The bed was comfortable, had decent storage for our time there and the kitchen was a huge plus as there was not many restaurants in the area so being able to cook ourselves was huge. There was a great mix of cookware, plates, utensils and storage to make that all easy.
The apt was in good condition, the only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the full space - however there was a mobile unit in the bedroom and plenty of fans to work with. So we were mostly comfortable.
We had great communication responses when we reached out with questions and a request so amazing customer service and communication.
Overall a good space and one we would stay in again in the future.
Property was older. It was adequate for our needs. The bed was firm and nice. The bathroom needs repairs as there are indications of leaking around tub/shower.
Host is very responsive and responded to all of our questions and concerns. Apartment is cozy, and everything in town is within walking distance. Just what we were looking for for our stay-cation.
