Nice but not good for little kids

Enjoyed the hotel room, but the banisters were not built to code. They were more than 4" apart and the first thing my toddler tried to do was stick his head through the banister. We did not use the balcony on our trip because I was afraid he would fall off the deck.

Ok

If you are a tourist like I am, you are probably better off paying extra to stay in Bandon, which is a cute touristy town. Coos Bay has more of a working, logging vibe, and it is not on the ocean. The staff was nice and the room was clean, but this hotel and town were not what I expected. I thought it would be like Seaside and Newport and Yachats and Bandon but it was not. It’s more like an inland logging town. The room has been renovated but the hotel is still a work in progress and the hotel sign is broken.

The price was reasonable. Check in check out went smoothly. Our only issue was the ice machine being located just outside our room. Because of that, my wife’s wake up call occurred at 7am when someone spent 10 minutes filling their cooler on the way out!

Nice Location Near Water and Safeway

Location near small water area and Safeway. Description said that there would be microwaves in rooms, but there weren't. I had to go to the lobby to heat stuff up. Bed was comfortable and A/C worked, so that was good. There were quite a few stairs so an elevator would have been nice.
