We had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. The location was also a plus—just a short walk to a lively area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Unfortunately, the property itself felt quite run down. The pool had a dirty cover on it and didn’t appear to be in use, and the hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing. While the bed was comfortable enough, the room lacked basic amenities like a closet or any space to hang clothes, which made things a bit inconvenient. Overall, the service and location were highlights, but the condition of the property and lack of in-room amenities left room for improvement.

Dated buildings and furnishings beyond end of life. Gravel on the carpet in my room. AC controls locked out, had to remove a cheap clamp to open window for cold air, which meant i had to leave my curtains open on the ground floor. Just had a very sketchy vibe. All they had left was yogurt for the "Breakfast", but they said the sandwiches would be refilled in a couple days. Not much help to me that morning. I would stay anywhere else in Coos Bay before booking here again.

Our room was clean, the person at the front desk was pleasant. The day of our leave we wanted to shower and to our shock the shower head in the shower produced no water. No one came to our room to check it out. We had to be at a reunion at noon! I have called the manager several times and have not received a call back for some type of compensation! Check your shower to see if it works when you get into the room!

Both rooms i was put into had plumbing issues with the shower and the 2nd room had an issue with the toilet

The room is big and clean but not of Red Lion standards we know. It's actually a motel that I believe Red Lion put their name on. It is not a building all in one like we expected. It's open and the room doors are open to the outside for any stranger to approach. I felt very uncomfortable and not protected.

It was a quiet room with a certain musty smell inside it. I slept with my personal blanket over my head cuz of the odor. Didn't provide any hangers, or extra box of tissue which ran out and it wasn't a full box to begin with. Since this was a trip for pleasure, I will not book again.

Long story short we had to switch rooms four times and the fourth room we found drugs on the counter and amphetamines. I’m sure Crystal meth or something, and it was in the tissue box of it stunk, and the maids never even came in and all they did was make the beds. It was horrible. I would not recommend it.
