We were notified by the staff prior to arrival that our reservation through Travelocity was canceled due to unavailable rooms. It took a few days to get a refund from the hotel and Travelocity. I had to call Travelocity to get the refund. Apparently Travelocity had not been notified of the cancellation. The representative at Travelocity told me that he had to get the manager of the hotel to agree to a refund even though the hotel canceled the reservation. We should’ve had that refund applied immediately upon the hotels cancellation without my having to follow up with anyone. I am disappointed in Travelocity. We stopped at the hotel to verify this cancellation we set up a new reservation at another hotel. Hotel staff was very courteous and explained that this was completely out of their control. They recommended other hotels in the area and gave us a sheet with phone numbers so that we could call them directly. I don’t know if I will use Travelocity in the future, if my reservation cannot be guaranteed, when I make it with Travelocity. Especially when I make a payment for that reservation.

The people next to us were fighting and the police were called. We did not sleep at all that night.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A strange quirk we discovered in the bathroom is that the toilet tissue holder is very, very close to the left side of the stool. It obviously has been bumped before because it is loose. There would be plenty of room to hang the paper on the right side. Had we been large adults, using the toilet would have been uncomfortable.

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was friendly. The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. Breakfast was quite good. It was nice and quiet, even though they were sold out.
