The room and property as a whole was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. The dinners were excellent and the view from the dining room was beautiful. The stay was better than I expected.

Wrong room and dead bugs

We have stayed her many times and love this lodge, but this particular time we were given the wrong room(which we thought was n upgrade) then it taken back from us and we were blamed for the mistake and moved to a horrible room with 8-9 dead bugs and in an area where the noise at night from closing doors and people running up and down a metal staircase kept us up all night long! We have never had an issue until this trip! It was truly miserable! Hoping the next stay is better!

What a great place to visit.

This is the nicest Kentucky state resort we have stayed at and we have been to several. All rooms are clean with a wonderful view from the balcony. Friendly staff and good food. Many things to do in the park and nearby. Highly recommend.

I stayed in one of the cabins while working in the area. It was great not to be stuck in town with someone tromping around in the room above me. Very quiet, great kitchen and all the pots and pans etc. that you could need. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

HIGHLY Recommend!

This was a beautiful and amazing place to stay. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! Everyone was so kind and friendly, the room was great! The scenery was so beautiful and the food was amazing at the lodge. The food in town didnt compare to the food at the lodge. Will definitely stay in and eat there versus the town restaurants. Thank you for being such a great place.
