Basic hotel with a good location

Communal areas were clean, modern and comfortable and the breakfast was varied and plentiful. Staff were polite and helpful and booked us a taxi to the airport for our return flight. The location was great with the beach and a bus stop for Corfu town just around the corner and loads of restaurants nearby. Less than 5 mins by taxi to both the port and airport. The rooms had a free safe and air conditioning but were in desperate need of refurbishment. A shower room for guests with later flight would also be welcome.

Good value for the price. Air con is good, breakfast wasnt bad either. The hotel cat was a bonus. The 3rd bed was just a pop up bed and squashed in the same size room and 1 pillow each. But again, it wasnt a high price so you have to weigh up your options

Easy 20 minute walk from the airport. Only 3 mins to the beach by the windmill/ bus stop for 2A bus into town, and a 30 minute stroll along the bay paths to the Old Fortress and Corfu town.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our quadruple room had a bathroom, twin for the kids, double for the grown ups and a small balcony with a good view of the sea. It was the balcony and view which made the stay so good. The continental breakfast was very good with choices of pastries, cakes, cereal, juice, fruit and hot things like eggs and bacon which I didn’t expect. It’s a 5 min walk to the sea. The room, especially the bathroom, were in need of a bit of a refurb but for one night we were fine. Oh and the hotel has its own cat….!

This is a fairly budget hotel. The staff is kind and it is clean. You can walk to some restaurants, but you'll need a bus to get to the downtown old Corfu. They do serve a wonderful breakfast which is included.

As a lone female I felt safe… only 2mins walk from the water front & quick taxi journey from airport. Easy & beautiful walk along water front to Old Town centre. Reception staff not the friendliest - younger lady lovely , x2 older women quite rude / dismissive - I only stayed 2 nights but was in Corfu a week and everyone else I encountered was lovely.

Overpriced and cold reception

The hotel is in a somewhat good location if you don't mind walking a 30 minute walk to the old town. There were not much options when looking for accomodation, Arion was the cheapest but over priced for an oldish looking hotel. Restaurants around the hotel vicinity were over priced, one even charging 3 euro seating charge and staff still requesting service tip. The reception staff at Arion Hotel were generally non attentive and seemingly unapproachable accept for the elderly lady with short brown hair. The bathroom outdated, the mattress extremely hard, woke up with a sore back daily. There was no mattress protector on the bed and room had the smallest TV I've seen. If it was not for the breakfast and breakfast staff my stay would have been awful. The was a generous and amazing breakfast spread and the breakfast team warm and receptive and worked very hard, constantly cleaning and clearing up. It was a joy to see Dimika's friendly and smiling face every morning and the young gentleman working with her. They are a huge asset to the hotel and should probably be given the chance to work at reception as they have a friendly personality and very customer service orientated.

For the money we paid was a great find. 5 mins drive from airport, easy to find, bus stop close by. Walkable to Corfu Town, restaurants and sea close by. Breakfast was good.
