Overall it was a ok stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinners we had were all delicious, we can't fault that at all. We were disappointed however to find there is no spa there any longer as it wasn't made clear anywhere before booking that that was the case. The pool was just a few degrees too cold that it wasn't a comfortable experience and the jacuzzi was just a corner of the pool which you stood up in with some jets. The changing room had no cubicles so people were struggling to change without revealing themselves. The radiator in our room had the thermostat hanging off and although we alerted reception noone fixed it during our stay. The toilet also really creaked if you sat on it which was a bit unnerving when it is only attached to the wall. So it was an average stay but we wouldn't book to stay there for a special occassion again.

Honestly this was a super disappointing experience, especially considering the expectations given the Radisson brand. The man at check-in was surly and looked like he didn’t want to be there. The rooms were supposed to be together. However we were allocated rooms over the spa but the lift was not working properly and so they had to move my mother to the other wing as she was using sticks and couldn’t make the stairs easily. This meant that we weren’t together. Neither room had aircon and, whilst both hot, ours was stifling. The problem was that the windows opened out to the motorway (just separated by a thin line of trees) so it was far too noisy to relax or sleep. Also there was standing water on the flat roof just outside the window so danger of bugs as well. The door to the room was very stiff and needed a full body shove to open. The state of the hotel overall was a little tired. The carpets were quite dirty both in the room and in the corridor. The in-room cleaning wasn’t particular thorough and the floor of the bathroom was not cleaned during our two night stay. The only saving grace was the staff in the restaurant/bar who where friendly, polite, helpful and went above and beyond, including making a special meal for my mother who has specific dietary requirements. Overall this was a real let down both for the price and the brand - and a marked difference from the Radisson Blu in Dublin which was superb.

Nice Hotel

A very nice hotel. Room was in very good condition. Rooms did not have air conditioning and it seemed like they had the heat on. I called down to ask and they said to just open your window and put a fan on. Did not really care for that response cause I was sweating while laying in bed.
