Semper Summer is the perfect dog-friendly coastal cottage for the beach lover who is looking for a little peace and relaxation! Located in Corolla's Ocean Sands Community (Section O), this spacious rental features everything you need to enjoy the perfect vacation. Enjoy a beautifully updated landscaping, a modern interior, a plethora of amenities, and plenty of deck space for soaking in that ocean breeze! Your family can spend their days splashing in the community pool, soaking in the bubbly hot tub, playing a friendly match at the community tennis court, or reeling in a catch from the nearby fishing lake. When you're ready to hit the sand, the nearest beach access is just a short 3-minute walk (0.1 miles) away. And with a fully fenced-in backyard, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a vacation with your favorite canine family members!

When you get back from the beach, easily rinse off the sand in the large outdoor shower. The 7-acre community fishing lake is just a 1-minute walk away and provides a quiet spot for a lovely evening walk. If you reel in the big one, you'll love being able to use the fish cleaning station outside before you throw your catch-of-the-day on the charcoal grill for dinner! Be sure to let your four-legged family members run around outside in the fenced-in backyard for an exciting vacation of their own. Take a dip in the private pool and soak up the sun (coming May 1, 2026)! Step inside the game room, where you can play a round of pool on the pool table. There's also a sofa, TV and a wet bar with a mini-fridge located on the ground level. For a little extra privacy, relax in the King Master Bedroom with a TV and additional Sitting Area, so there's always room for everyone to spread out and get comfy!

Head upstairs to the middle level and you will find three of the home's four bedrooms including a king master bedroom with its own private bathroom, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a final bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds. A full bathroom is located down the hallway and is shared by the queen and bunk bedrooms. All three bedrooms have sliders that allow access to the covered furnished decks, which are the perfect place for reading a book when you want to stay in the shade. Also located on the mid-level covered decks is the bubbly hot tub, where you'll want to unwind at the end of each day.

The top level is where you'll love gathering together in the bright and airy living area with all-new LVP flooring, cathedral ceilings, and plenty of comfortable furnishings centered around a large flat screen TV for catching up on your favorite show or watching a good movie. On nights you prefer to cook at home, you'll love the spacious kitchen that comes fully stocked with everything you need including a flat top stove, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and side-by-side refrigerator. The adjoining dining area has plenty of seating, but if you need extra space, there are 4 bar chairs located at the kitchen island. If you're in the mood to dine al fresco, step through the sliding doors from the dining area into the screened porch, and enjoy the ocean breeze at the picnic table under the twinkling cafe lights strung above. The spacious top-level sun deck is ideal for working on your tan or gazing out at the sunset on a warm summer evening. If you want to partake in a family-friendly card game, head back inside and up a few steps to the captain's watch with a small table and spectacular Corolla views. Rest easy in the final king master bedroom with a private bathroom. A convenient half bath is located on the landing between the mid and top levels.

Located on the northern end of the Outer Banks, Corolla is a beautiful vacation destination with plenty of shopping options, outdoor activities, and excellent restaurants. Perhaps best known for a herd of wild horses that reside there, visitors love the beautiful, pristine beaches perfect for swimming, fishing, building sandcastles and spotting a Corolla wild mustang galloping through the waves—if you're lucky! For the history lovers, be sure to stop by Whalehead Club in Historic Corolla for a tour of a 1920's Art Nouveau-style building that originally served as a luxurious hunting club. Visitors can also climb to the top of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse for a full 360-degree view of the coast. Just down the road, you'll find the Timbuck II Shopping Village with fun, local shops and restaurants that border the Currituck Sound. When you're done shopping, enjoy a delicious dinner with fresh seafood right off the boat from Mike Dianna's Grill Room or North Banks Restaurant & Raw Bar. A nice open and bright home with a few too many stairs for seniors! Location from beach was a tad far with more steps to access beach! Could have used more easy chairs in living room as well as more lamps. Towel rack in master bath was lose and fell when towels were hung.

Great Proximity to Beach

Stay was good, the place was clean. A couple of disappointments. Not having the beds made is disappointing. Traveling over 6 hours only to get there and make the beds is let down. Also, the place has 4 bathrooms 2 rolls of toilet paper does not cut it!! Not enough trash bags. No hand soap in any bathrooms. For a place that's over $5k for a week. Those small cost amenities should be available to renter. Additionally, a lot of pans but they are non stick and have big scratches on them making them non usable. I found the towel quality poor and stains on the towels not welcoming. Otherwise the house is exactly as advertised. Also, a let down is no pool

Hurricane Retreat

The property is exactly as advertised - it was lovely, and had tons of space. I would say that there were ZERO extras - there are five bathrooms and we weren't even provided with a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. This was definitely called out in the additional contract that the property management company sent, so we weren't surprised, but it did feel a little stingy which made me a little sad. Otherwise we requested a late checkout and the property management office was GREAT about it, and let us add that on at the last minute. That being said without the late checkout add-on (paid), the checkout would have been 9am which felt unrealistic. I'd just say that some more upfront clarity between the vrbo listing and the contract would be awesome :) Ok now truly: the beds were comfortable, the place was very clean, the hot tub was great for the chilly early fall days, the kitchen was STOCKED with all the un-food-related items (utensils, bowls, serving bowls, plates, kids cups, tupperware, etc), which was wonderful since we cooked frequently. I would definitely stay in this location again :)
